A Child's Place

"A Child’s Place was a welcomed find. I heard about it from a friend of a neighbor and I’m so glad they had space for us. My daughter got very professional age appropriate care in a small class setting on a beautiful campus. The teachers genuinely care about the students and have all the patience in the world with the parents as well. Ms. Cecilia is the best and my daughter still talks about her 5 months later. She formed some strong friendships here and several have transferred to public school with her. All in all a great experience and a real value."

"Our family couldn't be happier with A Child's Place. We sent our now-Kindergartener there until this summer and our 2.5-year old just started at ACP. The teachers are excellent--very loving & caring, giving each kid the attention they need. Our kids have learned so much and enjoy every day. Their facilities are also great--lots of toys in the building, a large outdoor play area, and it's right on Notre Dame campus so the kids get to go on walks frequently. What we especially love is that all classrooms spend time together in the big room and/or on the playground in the mornings and afternoons, so the big and little kids get to hang out together. I highly recommend A Child's Place!"

"I love a Child’s Place - it’s a small early learning school with small class sizes, on a beautiful campus. The children spend a lot of their time outdoors on hikes around the campus or their shaded playground learning from nature and things around them. The teachers are nurturing and engaging. All my children got their start at a child’s place and are in advance programs at their elementary school. A great place for play and learning!"

"We feel so lucky in having found this gem of a place for our daughter. We moved to Baltimore last year, and having a preschool she (and we) adored made our transition so much easier. The teachers are excellent and the attention kids get is amazing! The only downside is that kids do outgrow it eventually, and then where will you find a place that matches up?! The bar is set too high. :-)"

"I am the 2014-2015 president of the parent's association at A Child's Place, primarily because we have had a wonderful experience for our two daughters, one who's currently there and one who graduated in 2011. The teachers there have extensive experience in child care and the children are extremely well prepared for both kindergarten and first grade. Class sizes are small and the children are in a nurturing and kind environment. When we first visited several years ago, we were particularly struck by how kind all the children were to each other, and how happy. This is a place where your child will not want to leave at the end of the day."
