“The 5 stars are for the shoes and young man who served us, not the whole experience. I took my grandson for his 1st pair of shoes. The member of staff who actually served us was great. He was patient, helpful, and didn't seem to get stressed when baby didn't want to have his feet measured, he couldn't have been any better, just a very nice young man, along with another male member of staff who offered extra help. I had a bit of trouble getting out of the shop. They had a barrier and a lady manning it. For some reason she mustn't have been able to see two adults with a pram waiting to get past her in her peripheral vision, another member of staff shouted her to get her attention, she then moved to the side but didn't move the barrier, when I mentioned I wouldn't be able to get the pram out she moved it a little to give us the smallest space to get out.(I work in retail so I'm always polite to staff as I know how hard it can be when dealing with customers. For some reason she wasn't being helpful at all.) Apart from that, we were very pleased with the service from the 2 young men who served us and the shoes.”

She was so kind caring and patient, measured his feet without too much fuss, and even managed to get him giggling and skipping with excitement with his new shoes. She had so much time for him, even letting him scan his own shoes on the way out, and checking that his current shoes fit ok. “Due to my son having additional needs I pre -booked an appointment with this store for a shoe fitting for my son before they opened. He has autism and really struggles with busy places and loud noises. I was so grateful to Jane for helping me sort this appointment out as it's always been a challenge to get him measured for shoes. I usually do it at home myself which was always very difficult. She reassured me on the phone that she would get him all sorted and I certainly did. Jane and Liv were amazing with my son, Liv was able to get him measured for the first time ever in a shop and it was amazing how they both engaged with my son and made it a great experience for him and us too!
