“After the poor experience from JD I went to Footasylum were i was greeted by staff. I chose the trainers that I wanted and a tall gentleman looked after me and was quick and efficient. Very good experience and my little girl got the trainers she wanted. There was a lady at the stairs who said good bye and have a nice day. I will be coming back. Thabkyou.”

“A brilliant, independent, spacious shop - children's, men's and ladies' shoes, boots, sandals etc. Not your average shoe shop - much more. Friendly, patient, personable 'staff'. Array of styles, colours, sizes, etc. Great bargains in the sale. Quality footwear, wide range of practical, everyday, different and exquisite stock. Prices are comparable to all good shoe shops - but definitely worth every penny.”

“Big shout out to Karen! My 3 year old boy was really nervous about having his feet measured, and got a bit upset. She was so kind caring and patient, measured his feet without too much fuss, and even managed to get him giggling and skipping with excitement with his new shoes. She had so much time for him, even letting him scan his own shoes on the way out, and checking that his current shoes fit ok. There were people waiting to be served, but Karen took the time with us, we didn’t feel rushed, and we left with a very happy little boy. Thank you so much”

“Excellent service as always. Greated very professionally by staff, and warned we would have a short wait due to being a member of staff down. The wait was only short and the staff member did all she could to minimise our wait. The service in preparing the shoes was very professional and they did all that they could to keep it covid secure. We have used Hands for years and have always found the staff members professional and knowledgeable, there is no pressure sales it is all about making sure that the shoe is right for the child. Customer service is key and this is something that always differentiates Hands from other stores, the customer is key and they make sure there is a no rush service. For a local business they really know their customer base and know what the schools allpw and disallow. I can highly recomend Hands.”

“Due to my son having additional needs I pre -booked an appointment with this store for a shoe fitting for my son before they opened. He has autism and really struggles with busy places and loud noises. I was so grateful to Jane for helping me sort this appointment out as it's always been a challenge to get him measured for shoes. I usually do it at home myself which was always very difficult. She reassured me on the phone that she would get him all sorted and I certainly did. Jane and Liv were amazing with my son, Liv was able to get him measured for the first time ever in a shop and it was amazing how they both engaged with my son and made it a great experience for him and us too! I honestly can't recommend this store enough! They were amazing! We will 100% be returning when he needs some more shoes. Thank you so much to Jane and Liv :)”
