Salford Spirits
“The best looking shop in Salford.. Very convenient almost everything you can find. I love their staff always welcoming to customers.”
Junction Wine Shop
“Best shop in lower broughton by far and the best staff work there too, really friendly and really helpful, the shop has been owned by the same people for at least 20 years so everyone who's from the area knows them and vice versa, what more could you want from a local friendly shop :) XxX”
California Wines
“BEST SHOP EVER! The owner was so nice and their kid is so friendly. This shop is getting so much bad reviews, I really don't know why people say their Chinese but their not their Vietnamese . So much racist people on the internet.”
WalkQuays
“Can't recommend Fraser highly enough. Always get an excellent service. He's great with our dog who needed to be socialised properly after lockdown. Gave us some superb tips as to how to handle challenging behaviours, all of which worked a treat. Looking forward to a long working relationship!”
Hawksmoor Manchester
“As ever with Hawksmoor, fabulous steak. This experience was really great to us thanks to Benedicts amazing service. Knowledgeable about anything on the menu and a pleasure to be served by. Always order the sticky toffee pudding. Trust me.”
Lakeland grocers
“This is the jewel of Manchester's crown.Great sandwiches and great prices. Fantastic range of cooked meats and bargain buys. Great location and really handy. Quick service and friendly staff. Fantastic independent retailer showing the big boys how to retail food.”
Vero Moderno
“Had a great calzone, only 3 stars for atmosphere because it was 4.30pm so nobody else around.”
Union Tavern
“The location doesn't bode well but inside the beers is well kept, the place clean and tidy. Staff nice too.”
Dom's Italia
“Restaurant looks really nice. Both courses we had were delicious. Staff great Would recommend”
Gaucho Manchester
“Loved our experience at Gaucho. Some items were not photographed as it was all gobbled up too quickly! Place is lovely and the service excellent. Honestly, customer service is top notch; our waiter was very helpful, welcoming and friendly. We had the fillet and another type of steak recommended by staff. We got a side of truffle mac & cheese, chips, and rocket salad which were all very delicious. The cheesecake dessert was the best we ever tried & the brownie was average to be honest. Theres a lovely selection of drinks that is inclusive of those who do not prefer alcohol as well. It was a fantastic experience & we will definitely be coming again.”
Côte Manchester
“Booked a table for a get together with friends. The food was fantastic, great service and a lovely waitress! Many thanks and we will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended.”
Embankment Kitchen Restaurant & Bar
“We stayed at City Suites and never normally use the hotel restaurant…I am so glad we did this time! Really lovely food with exceptional service from Veronica. All of the staff were very pleasant and the food was faultless. The staff even bought out a birthday cocktail for my birthday which was a really lovely and personal touch. We really enjoyed our visit and will happily recommend to all of our friends and family who visit Manchester.”
The Black Friar
“What an unexpected surprise! Spontaneously went for dinner on Saturday evening. They found us a table in the upstairs area which was lovely. Food was delicious and the service was attentive and helpful. We returned to the downstairs bar for cocktails. All the little details made it a lovely place and we had a wonderful evening. Thank you!”
The Gas Lamp
“A favourite of ours since moving to Manchester. Friendly staff, chilled vibe and great selection of beers in an authentic, vintage environment. It's a hidden gem, down some stairs in a basement and stands out from the usual garish, chain or flashy cocktail bars of Spinningfields.”
Albert's Shed, Castlefield
“Had fabulous birthday meal. We booked arrived early and got taken to our table. 2 very lovely lads attended to us . Nothing was too much trouble. Food excellent. Lovely atmosphere cleanliness 10 out of 10. Highly recommend to visit.”
Mulligans
“Easily the best pint of Guinness in England. I always recommend this place to friends who visit manchester. As a fellow publican I'd love to know their secret on how the Guinness is so creamy and perfect.”
Jc's Off Licence
“Jcs is now Go Local and it's the best one around staff are ace and if you ask them to find you something they will try their hardest! Great local shop”
Bem Brasil Deansgate
“Excellent. Hadn't booked, but managed to get us in after a 30 minute wait. Sat by 8.15pm, food served until 9.30pm which meant all the options didn't come round, so would recommend booking earlier. Nice veggie options, couldn't finish the tomato gnocchi. Would highly recommend, and recommend booking.”
Sinclairs Oyster Bar
“Pleasantly surprised to find this was a Samuel Smith's pub, so very cheap. Beer was very well kept. A very interesting building architecturally too - not your average pub. I did like their "Digital Detox" stance, which meant people were having actual conversations and not just sat looking at their phone!!”
The Deansgate
“What a great pub! A nice traditional pub with a great range of pints, friendly staff and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend The Deansgate and I look forward to visiting again upon my return to Manchester”
Ashley Brook

The Sawyer's Arms
“Great pub, I traveled from America, had a long train ride to my hotel and the Sawyer’s Arms was my first stop in England. What an experience: it’s a beautiful old school pub in the middle of Deansgate, with very reasonable prices, good food and pint selection and the staff was very courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. I ended up returning several times during my stay and I look forward to doing the same when I return to Manchester.”
