We did quite a lot of research before choosing this nursery and have not been disappointed. I would rate Scamps overall as excellent, as it's recent ranking as top day nursery in the North West bears out.”

“Great nursery! Our daughter has attended for almost 3 years in the summer. She has thrived and thrived, and she is SO ready for reception in September & thanks to Macc Day Nursery I feel she’ll be ready for this. Great nursery, great activities, whether it’s forest school or stretch & grow they’re always doing something different, trips out into town. Our daughter has made lots of friends, made attachments to staff members, just really enjoys herself. It will be sad for her to leave, but we recommend 10/10, fabulous nursery!”

“Really nice chilled out environment, friendly tattoo artists with great skill. Got a special writing piece and got excellent information and advice on where it would best be suited. No one rushes you to get the tattoo done, and the finish work looks amazing. Also good value for money. Go see Mick for line and writing work! Totally happy with this new addition, my grandad will be proud.”

“I took my daughter's to the Bonfire night. What a fantastic evening. The price of entrance only ten pounds for 1 adult and 2 children including a hot dog and drink.. wow !! The fire was well under control and the fireworks was a great display. I was really impressed. Would recommend especially for families with children. Well done to all the helpers.. credit to you”

“My husband and I drove for 4 hours to try out Loaf sofas and it was very worthwhile journey. The staff immediately offered us a welcome bottle of chilled water, they let us browse but were attentive when we had questions, they were very generous with their time but with absolutely no hard sell and they were very knowledgeable about the products. We returned home very content with the sofa, armchair and chaise we have chosen and we look forward to seeing them in our new home. A huge thank-you to Ben and Cherry in the Wilmslow Shack for looking after us so well. Amanda”

“We booked a reservation for the Sunday lunch and needless to say the food was amazing, tasty and seasonal veg crunchy. Stayed overnight in one of the corner rooms, which was nice and clean. Staff couldn't do enough for us and were very friendly, cocktails were excellent. Thank you.”

“I had a work conference at this place. Beautiful building and very open grounds. Room was nice and modern but I heard they have some older looking ones too. Staff were helpful, friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay. A bit pricey but I'd probably go again.”

“It was a last minute booking for my mother who has several disabilities and they have been truly amazing to her, I have to especially thank Fred for being so hospitable - the staff really do go above and beyond to respectfully ensure that you have a relaxing stay, I would definitely recommend this place. ““Utterly Gorgeous” - great menu, strong flavours presented with exquisite perfection. We take of our hats to a great young waitress “Alysson” who was really on the ball, eyes everywhere, ready to pre-empt the needs of her diners! We were very impressed. Pity the managers present didn’t show the same attention to their guests & were noticeably absent for most of the evening until a special guest arrived & they both showed keeness to impress. Sad that they might have been trying to impress the wrong guest!! The duck was lovely, the plaice was minimalistic at best and though tasty failed to satisfy. It was good to visit a restaurant experienced in the handling & drinking of champagne. Their prices were not extortionate & it was good to be served the bubbles into champagne flutes. Note to management: champagne pours better into chilled glasses...ours were hot-to-touch!!”
