It turns out it was packaged in white tissue paper and had been missed at the bottom of a large bag by my wife who was mortified. “Pleasantly surprised; Travelodge doesn't always have the best reputation but I booked a few weeks in advance and managed to get a Saver Rate room at £37 for the night as somewhere to stay for a night out. Very budget hotel but clean and warm room, couldn't hear any noise in the corridors or any road noise (when the window was closed) and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of space in the car park, staff friendly and security presence at night. Didn't have breakfast or use the bar/cafe facilities so can't comment on those.”

Place was packed out, but service was lightning quick! It's a simple idea, but it works really well. You pick the small, medium or large box then add sides and mains. Medium box was packed full and I struggled to finish it so you're going to have to be hungry if you go for the large box. Food was tasty and starters were just as good. Highly recommended for anyone who likes Chinese food especially if you're in a rush!”
