Welcoming atmosphere in Marple

“I visited the Salon of Marple after looking for a new salon as my old hairdresser changed locations. The Salon of Marple staff were helpful from when I first enquired until after I had my hair styling appointment. Danielle the hairdresser was very professional and talked me though the process answering all my questions. She gave me recommendations of how to style my hair and which products would be best for me. Overall my experience was great here and I will be back when I can.”

“Wish ide take a picture but was to keen to eat! I'm vegan and had the vegetable skewer starter and then the aubergine curry, it all tasted so fresh and healthy. The husband really enjoyed his chicken saag to, he said it was full of flavor. Great prices with the discount to, good proper authentic food. Food hot when arrived and delivered by a lovley gentleman. 100% recommend.”

“Great place to meet. Away from everything else next to the barge boats on the side if the canal and next to the Lime kilns. Has a function room for hire, pool table, snooker table and darts.”

“Unfortunately I am now single after 60 years of marriage but booking for just me wasn't a problem . Unlike most Italian restaurants they offer a range of veal dishes which are excellent along with an very extensive menu of other dishes. They are always busy due to quality and value for money and you need to book.”

“Good access, but single vehicle width only. Good sized car park, just mind out for the pot holes one or two are quite large. Excellent facilities, bar is nice and big, good range of drinks, coffee too if you want, prices aren't too bad and service is with a smile. The toilets are good sized and kept clean and should be okay for disabled access. The club house has good access on the ground floor. Attended a party here and it was a good sized area but definitely book well in advance as it books up quickly.”

“Tonight was our first ever vist to Purple Pakora Marple. I have to say the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent, infact I would say it is the best Biryani I have ever had, my husbands Rogan Josh was also very tasty. Definitely will be back.”

“What lovely staff, Helen was very helpful. We got our appointments, explained we weren't happy with our previous dentist. We got an appointment, saw Grant and his assistant Zoey.Explained how myself and my 11 year old were very nervous. “Truly delicious! Hot and flavoursome food in decent-sized portions that are delivered promptly. I especially like the variety and volume of vegetables that come in the veggie dishes. And lots of big slices of chilli so you can have it hot or pick them out as you please. Always delighted with a Marple Thai takeaway!”

“Fantastic service and value for money. Can't fault the prices or workmanship here. It's quite rare to find someone who deserves the title of of craftsman but this guy is the genuine article. There are a few shops nearer to me who offer to repair watches but it's always worth driving to Prags in Marple.”

“While I was on my epic quest, looking for vinyls in Marple I came across this charity shop. And I have to say it's really great. A lot of brand new items with low price tags. You don't see things like that being given for charity. And there's vinyl collection which is what kept me there for some time. Unlike most of charity shops you will not find there country music. Or classical music for that example. But it's not only vinyls. It's CD's or books. Or movies. Clothing too. You name it, everything is well sorted and you never get lost. Unlike more charity shops everything here got it's place. And it's well organised. I'm sure that in the future I'll come again. To browse through vinyls. Or do some clothes shopping for every day use. Well done British Red Cross. Example for charity shop should be run.”

“This is in my opinion the Best Dental Practice around. Yes it's a business, but that is medicine and dental care , but set that aside and what you have here is a trustworthy experience . Veenu is the main dentist and he has such a great demeanour and skill. He is well assisted by the second dentist , in this case Anchal. I feel in safe hands that when having a hygienist visit that Anchal has the skill of a qualified Dentist, along with the care and compassion that runs throughout the team. I have never been a fan of the dentist but here it is like returning to a friend who is ready to help you with kindness and compassion Thank you one and all”

“When I 1st met Fiona my blonde hair was in a very bad way, years of bleaching, I didn't know there was another way to be blonde without bleach?. Then Fiona came along and no more bleach was used, I can still be as blonde as I want but now my hair is in amazing condition. Amazing hairdresser with a mountain of ideas, colours, new styles, professional, friendly, I would never use another hairdresser...”

“My daughter, Faye, is due to attend her 4th lesson with Rob at Marple Gracie Jiu Jitsu this Friday. Although it's technically challenging with a lot of information to absorb, especially considering she has only just turned 7 years old in February; she has really started to pick up the techniques Rob has shown her and put them into practice with the other children. During the week until the next lesson, we practice together to reinforce Robs teaching. Robs teaching is set at a good pace with each pair of children receiving a fair amount of individual time with Rob to help them develop the proper technique. The children have welcomed Faye and made her feel at home. The older children in her class have been kind and patient when she hasn't understood something which is great. Great coach, awesome children and a fun, learning environment. Would definitely recommend!”
