“Must say food was delicious I got a spicy burger meal and he gave my mate free dhaal soup on the house, he came around after we finished to ask us if everything was good. The place is clean and covid regulations followed. It has seating places to eat in. U need a mask to enter once inside u can have it off. I will come again the warmth we got from the staff specially the red t shirt brother was really nice. I highly recommend everyone tries it once if they like grill foods, shawarma or kobedas.”

“Lovely public house with a great beer garden and an outside function room. Smallish car park with room for maybe 12 cars. Been living in the local neighbourhood for almost 13 years and never knew this existed. Well done for turning a small local pub into a great venue for small parties. Will be visiting again.”

“I’ve had semi permanent eyeliner twice before somewhere else and each time it came off straight away. I have only been to Mel once and I’m really happy that it stayed on. I’m due to go back tomorrow for my top up, but it still looks great even from the first session. “My daughter, son in law and 3 year old grandson took me here tonight for my birthday meal. My son in law is vegan and for the first time in ages managed to have a starter and a main course which didn't involved a burger! My sea bream was delicious. They kindly cooked my grandson's main course whilst the adults were on starters. The waiter was excellent and the food was well cooked and very tasty. My grandson would like to know where all the money has gone as he and Daddy went to the toilet in the safe and he couldn't see any cash!”

“Fantastic place to enjoy a bite to eat with beautiful views, delectable dishes and wonderful and upbeat staff. Well worth a visit and right on the canal, a gem on the outside of the village. If you're travelling by car there's not much parking so try to find somewhere nearby or park in the village and walk down the canal. The were a good selection of choices available on the menu including a comprehensive number of drinks to choose from all for reasonable prices. It appears to be a popular destination but they do have plenty of tables so you may have a short wait but it's worth it. Outside by the canal most of the seating is for 2 people but there are a couple of tables for bigger groups on the side and out front. Inside there are plenty of tables, upstairs has great views. The staff were very friendly and eager to please. We will definitely be returning!”

“This has to be the most authentic Indian Food place in all of Manchester. The owner is actually from Lucknow, India. She makes great Veg as well as Non-Veg dishes. Try their Chicken Curry with rice, or Chicken Biryani, plain old Rajma Chawal or straight up Aloo Paratha. Everything is authentic and the real taste of India.”
