“Fantastic council owned park. Grounds are so well maintained and are a credit to all involved in their maintenance and upkeep. Nice cafe dog friendly with decent range of drinks and snacks but is slightly expensive. Nice little children's zoo and play area as well. Something for everyone.”

“Stopped here for lunch on my way to Wales. Firstly, Naomi was an amazing host, very friendly and super helpful. Good variety of Tapas and drinks, some better than others, but all very good. I would highly recommend the olives, and the deep fried Brie, and definately ask to sit in Naomi’s section :) Well worth a visit.”

I found this garage and the gentleman was extremely helpful and topped up the tyres for me without problem which helped me reach my destination about 250miles away. “Had a lovely Sunday lunch with family. They really looked after my mother in law who is on oxygen due to pulmonary fibrosis. Food was lovely and the staff were really welcoming, friendly and fun. The hotel, as you would expect for a wedding venue, does have really picturesque and well kept gardens, and for me it was an undiscovered gem. We will be back for afternoon tea very soon. The food here is so good and tastes quite authentic South Chinese (I lived in Hong Kong for a while so hopefully I should know). Service is attentive and welcoming with an upscale atmosphere. The range of dishes is good and although on the expensive side, the taste to cost ratio means it's good value.”

“We had a meal here on Saturday night to celebrate Mothers Day with the in-laws. We cannot fault anything. Service was spot on, the food was incredible, and the drinks menu was great. I had the prawn salad to start and the lamb for main. All perfect. My wife is a vegetarian and was very pleased with everything on offer. I generally find beers in restaurants are very average on choice, and especially draught beer in restaurants to be flat, or not poured correctly, but I was in for a surprise. Not just the fact they had Neck Oil on the menu on draught, but it was a very good pint. If I had to give 6 stars I would. Very impressed.”
