“Really good museum, well worth a visit. An interesting mix of collections, both historical, cultural and natural. The aquarium in the lower levels is a real bonus too. Not always easy to park for free but there's nearby pay and display car parks. The area surrounding the museum is also a nice area of Bolton.”

“My son has attended Bolton School from the age of 5 and has just finished his A levels. He has lots of opportunities throughout his school life . Although his main extra curricular activities have revolved around sport where he has represented the school at football, cricket, water polo and hockey he has also been stretched into the arts having the opportunity to act, and play the trumpet in concerts. Discipline is strong in the school but I have found it fair. Academically he has progressed and has turned into a well rounded individual. Thank you Bolton School.”

“My wife had gone in for a big order & got home to realise an item was missing (Christmas madness) , she went back to the store and was helped by a lady who checked cctv to see where the item went. It turns out it was packaged in white tissue paper and had been missed at the bottom of a large bag by my wife who was mortified. The lady went outside to check the car with my wife (wife’s permission & request) where it was found ! , thank you so much for not making her feel like she was out on a Christmas rob - mistakes happen & it was dealt with in a nice friendly way. Thank you Argos and thank you to the lady who helped !”

“Pleasantly surprised; Travelodge doesn't always have the best reputation but I booked a few weeks in advance and managed to get a Saver Rate room at £37 for the night as somewhere to stay for a night out. Very budget hotel but clean and warm room, couldn't hear any noise in the corridors or any road noise (when the window was closed) and the bed was comfortable. Plenty of space in the car park, staff friendly and security presence at night. Didn't have breakfast or use the bar/cafe facilities so can't comment on those.”

“Brilliant dance studio for girls and boys of all ages. Miss Teresa has worked hard throughout lock down to engage children and adults alike through zoom sessions. So glad to be back in the studio!”

“The rooms were lovely and had a tv, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. The mattresses and pillows were lovely n clean. Most of the staff were very happy n helpful. The restaurant was very nice and the food was good. There were plenty of choices from the buffet. They also had fresh fruit that u could help yourself to. I would certainly go back there!”

“A very nice experience had here today. Food was served quickly, hot and fresh. Staff members very helpful with explaining how the restaurant works. Overall had a great experience here. Definitely looking to return again. Addendum: Place seems to only have chopsticks to eat with. If you have a dexterity impairment please keep this in mind as you may struggle to eat here.”

“Went with a friend while she was getting her hair cut. She's been going to Stuart for years, won't use any one else. Speaks for itself IMO. Nice salon, friendly staff and very chatty. Even though I wasn't even a customer I still got a cuppa! If I ever want a new stylist I know where I'm going.”

“Chris is 1st class from 1st point of contact right through to delivery. He was very patient whilst we was trying to sort a delivery date, he turned up early and looked very professional. He hooked the caravan up and I have to say not once did I feel nervous whilst following him even on some dodgy roads. Once on site he put it on the pitch. “My second visit to Odin’s and the experience was twice as good as the first time. The shop is immaculate and the staff so so amazing. I was so lucky to have Ewelina do both of my tattoos and she killed it both times. I think artists like her are so hard to find. She has a real skill for producing detailed, intricate designs and I think in the tattoo world that is so rare. Combining her extensive knowledge in both the tattoo and brow game makes her the ultimate double threat. I will not go elsewhere from now on! Can’t recommend enough!”

I absolutely adore the tattoo done by Shannon, who did such a good job in making me feel at ease! Also, left with two helix piercings done by Chris, who made getting a needle through your ear enjoyable and fairly painless while creating such a friendly, easygoing atmosphere. Such a good experience! Definitely recommend and will be back again!”

“I always go to Leo. He always keeps it professional as he always respects the customer as well as being open to changes in the design within reason. He is an overall nice guy who is passionate about his craft. For the other staff, they are always cracking jokes and checking in on you . Overall, it is a comforting environment. I never feel stressed as there is a lot to look at around the parlour to keep your mind occupied. In short , 10/10.”
