“This was such a great choice. Excellent location with fine eateries next door. You would be mad not to stay here as it represents the cutting edge of value for money. Extremely quiet and excellent reception they even took our bags up to the room. We met some lovely people here who were extremely friendly. “Salsa de Cuba! Fantastico! The ONLY authentic, Havana university trained dance teachers in Manchester. I have done all of their dance courses except one in the last 5 years. Juan & Susan have also given me the amazing opportunity to participate in many dance performances of which I am eternally honoured to have done. I also went on one of their Cuba holidays which was one of the best experiences ever! Not many dancers can say that they’ve even danced with their dance teachers beautiful family in their kitchen, in the heart of Havana with a live band.....you’ll never experience that on any other Cuba package holiday! Nor will you ever receive such friendly, professional dance advice elsewhere! Well done Salsa de Cuba. Much love & future success”

“We have stayed here a few times over the last couple of years and it is always a great experience. Clean, modern rooms and a good bar/restaurant. Perfect location for events at the AO Arena or if arriving via train into Manchester Victoria. Car parking is £15.00 for 24 hours (a five minute walk from the hotel). Lastly, the staff have always been friendly and professional. All in all it’s a great hotel in a great location for visiting central Manchester.”

“Sapporo Teppanyaki is a great place to dine. The food is delicious and a wide variety of items is available. From beef to lamb to fish to veggie options. They confirmed that the chicken and lamb is halal. The taste of their items is also very good. Sushi tastes great as well and so does their dessert. Booking is highly recommended if you want a place at one of the live cooking stations.”

“I really enjoyed the food. The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. I got the mix grill for 2, and it was more than enough for me, my wife and 2 kids. The owners are great and made us feel very welcome. The decor inside is stunning and the food is fresh and really tasty. My little kids even got lollies at the end. “A favourite of ours since moving to Manchester. Friendly staff, chilled vibe and great selection of beers in an authentic, vintage environment. It's a hidden gem, down some stairs in a basement and stands out from the usual garish, chain or flashy cocktail bars of Spinningfields.”

“I had an amazing experience. First, the breakfast was delicious. Excellent food quality Second, the room was a complete apartment with kitchen, living room and laundry. Everything was clean and organized. Staff very friendly and helpful Location: 5 minutes walking to the Victoria station and a nice shopping center. Pool and sauna lovely I recommend this hotel 1000% and also the restaurant not only for breakfast but for dinner as well . Food is exquisite!! For sure I’ll go back for upcoming travels”

“Beautiful hotel in a great central location. The reception staff were amazing and the room was spotlessly clean. As other reviews have mentioned, there was a lot of noise at night from trains and people out on the town (this isn't something that bothered us personally and is to be expected for the location). I would definitely stay again and had a wonderful time.”

“Very well organised. Nice and clean. Disabled access was good. Bar drink code was adequate and refreshments were available. Excellent idea of being able to order drinks for the interim period so you could just pick them up. Toilets were superbly clean. Such a grand place to visit and experience.”
