Bolton School
● Open“My son has attended Bolton School from the age of 5 and has just finished his A levels. He has lots of opportunities throughout his school life . Although his main extra curricular activities have revolved around sport where he has represented the school at football, cricket, water polo and hockey he has also been stretched into the arts having the opportunity to act, and play the trumpet in concerts. Discipline is strong in the school but I have found it fair. Academically he has progressed and has turned into a well rounded individual. Thank you Bolton School.”

Odin’s Eye Tattoo Collective
● Closed“My second visit to Odin’s and the experience was twice as good as the first time. The shop is immaculate and the staff so so amazing. I was so lucky to have Ewelina do both of my tattoos and she killed it both times. I think artists like her are so hard to find. She has a real skill for producing detailed, intricate designs and I think in the tattoo world that is so rare. Combining her extensive knowledge in both the tattoo and brow game makes her the ultimate double threat. I will not go elsewhere from now on! Can’t recommend enough!”

1st Edition Tattoo Parlour
● Closed20 Bath Street, Bolton BL1 2DJ, United Kingdom“I always go to Leo. He always keeps it professional as he always respects the customer as well as being open to changes in the design within reason. He is an overall nice guy who is passionate about his craft. For the other staff, they are always cracking jokes and checking in on you . Overall, it is a comforting environment. I never feel stressed as there is a lot to look at around the parlour to keep your mind occupied. In short , 10/10.”

Clarks
● Closed“Big shout out to Karen! My 3 year old boy was really nervous about having his feet measured, and got a bit upset. She was so kind caring and patient, measured his feet without too much fuss, and even managed to get him giggling and skipping with excitement with his new shoes. She had so much time for him, even letting him scan his own shoes on the way out, and checking that his current shoes fit ok. There were people waiting to be served, but Karen took the time with us, we didn’t feel rushed, and we left with a very happy little boy. Thank you so much”

St Peter's C.E. Primary School
● OpenAlexandra Street, Farnworth, Bolton BL4 9JT, United Kingdom“Excellent school, rated "Outstanding" by OFSTED. If you don't want to take the word of the OFSTED inspectors, ask a parent of a young person that attends the school. The school motto is "Learn, Sparkle, and Shine", and it really comes across in the way the staff interact with both the children and their parents. There seems to be an energy and enthusiasm for both learning and the encouraging every child to maximise their potential. This is a church school with links to the nearby Farnworth St. John's (Church of England); however, the children are encouraged to understand and explore faiths of all varieties. The school offers a wide variety of extra activities after school, such as art, chess, computing, dance, and various sports. There is also a "breakfast club" which allows parents to drop-off children at 8am for a small charge. The staff encourage children to take on additional responsibilities, such as joining the school council, keeping the school tidy, or promoting technology within their class. A wide variety of visits (outside the school) take place each year, both far educational purposes and to enable the children to participate in the wider community. Sports day is a fitting climax to the school year, and the extra effort put in by the staff ensures that all the children (and parents) are kept busy as the class groups rotate through the multiple events taking place at the same time. This is a large (two-form-entry) school that recently extended their buildings, but does not loose any of the personal touch thanks to the dedicated head-teacher and her hard working staff team.”

Drama Academy North West
● OpenAddington Road, Bolton BL3 4QZ, United Kingdom“We can not thank Drama Academy North West enough for bringing out so much confidence in our daughters. Our youngest daughter loves the ‘Discover’ class. It’s amazing that at such a young age she is confident enough to sing, dance and perform in front of other people to the standard that you’d expect from a much older child. Our eldest has been to other local drama schools in Bolton, but we feel that she didn’t get much benefit from the other classes as they lacked structure. Now with Drama Academy North West, she has come on leaps and bounds in the ‘Explore’ class, with the correct professional coaching, at a fraction of the price of the other schools! She has now been approached to perform in local productions! PS. I enjoy the coffee while I wait in the onsite coffee bar, it’s delicious!”
