The timing chain snapped on my Mini Countryman, had an N47 chain, and after being let down badly by the main dealer, someone recommended these guys to me and I'm so pleased they did. I rang and spoke to Dave and explained the situation, then had the vehicle recovered to them, they kept me updated with pictures and video of the damage and work required, they did all this in less than a week. I drove the vehicle home to North Wales and it drove better than before. I took my wife’s mini to Norton’s for a service which was reasonably priced, during the service they brought to my attention that there was a water leak, this made perfect sense as we had recently topped it up twice and could not figure why and where from we were losing water from.On investigation I was told the water was coming from the thermostat housing unit and this part could only be purchased direct from bmw so biting the bullet I said yes go ahead with the job. but after running various tests on the car they found the problem and fixed it, they told me it was a small seal close to the thermostat housing unit which then was replaced, saving me a considerable amount of money I would of been none the wiser if they had gone ahead and put a new thermostat housing unit in. Because Norton’s were so honest I will continue to take mine and my wife’s vehicles there. Thank you for your hard work.”
