“By chance I discovered this recently opened little gem of a cafe in Hale Village adjacent to the railway station. This cafe is on the second floor above an art gallery and is immaculately clean and simply but tastefully decorated. Very polite and attentive staff with a good selection of nicely cooked food and drinks at very reasonable prices. It is an ideal location to relax and meet your friends for a coffee or a light meal throughout the day.”

“We went to Phanthong for lunch on Saturday and ordered from the A La Carte menu. The decor is lovely. The food was presented beautifully and absolutely delicious. We had young kids with us and they loved the food too, especially the pad Thai noodles. The service was excellent. Would definitely recommend this place and will be back again.”

They kept our booth for us for the afternoon and wouldn't take payment for the drink we had whilst waiting until we returned later and they put it on the final bill. “The reason for many a happy Sunday night! The Wok Inn is one of the best Chinese takeaways in the local area in my personal opinion. I have been ordering from here for easily a decade now and I have never been disappointed. The lady behind the counter is lovely and never hesitates to add in very generous extras for paying over certain prices. The food always tastes excellent and from what I can see the kitchen looks professional and very clean. Ordering is easy and quick and thr food is always ready upon arrival.
