We tried a lot of dishes and I can say that this is definitely a higher end Indian, not drowned in sauces, these dishes were well balanced, full of flavour and spiced well. “Popped in here yesterday, Saturday. Busy. I chose the veggie pizza with my favourite veg, aubergene. It was, ABSOLUTELY SUPERB, CRISP AND DELICIOUS. THE NICEST PIZZA EVER tasted in my life, and I'm 56! Recommend to book. Staff really really friendly n nice.”

“Loved this place. We had an overnight stay in Manchester with a next day flight to USA so we stayed in the area. Found this place and had a beer and food. Staff were amazing looked after us really well and the food was top notch as was the beer. Wish I could go more often.”

“We dropped by here for lunch arriving at 12 noon. Already this venue was popular but had plenty of seating to accommodate everyone. There were plenty of staff who were friendly knowledgable and created a good atmosphere. A real highlight from the kitchen was the Gluten Free Menu. It was extensive and included a gluten free version of the majority of the main menu. In addition to the GF menu there was a vegan menu and they also catered for those avoiding specific allergens. An excellent GF beer was also available. It was a real pleasure to eat & drink here and we will be visiting again soon.”

“We visited just before Xmas for brunch, what a gorgeous place! we absolutely loved the dark décor and wooden floors, stylish yet very cosy! Our server was really attentive, and chatty, and our food arrived very quickly and was delicious - you can't beat Cheshire smokehouse sausage & bacon! - We can't wait to return with the family!”

Booked in here for Lunch and can honestly say as an Ex Chef myself, The Mixed Grill was out of this world, The best I've had by a mile. My Steak was cooked to perfection. “Had a meeting and lunch here. The meeting room was very spacious, the tech all worked and there are plenty of plugs. Tea and coffee provided, along with some biscuits. Staff very helpful throughout. The lunch was nice too, not too pricey for quality food, had the seabass, calories printed on the menus which is very helpful. Pint of MPA on cask was in perfect condition!”

“Over the course of a few hours I had lovely interactions with so many staff members here. They are wonderful. From giving our dog treats and water to checking our food was okay, the service here is great. I love the atmosphere and it's very well priced. Lovely evening”

“This place has excellent food. I think the flavors are incredible! I was a bit disappointed the last time I went to see they had removed some craft cocktails from the menu because in combination with the food it was awesome… but it’s still great even without the drinks. I strong recommend the Lamb Chops, they are very tasty, even if you aren’t big on Lamb, it’s very well flavored. Always get some garlic naan! And another favorite is the chicken tika! Parking can be tricky in the area but there is a paid parking lot right behind the Restaurant if you want to make it simpler :)”

“Can’t say a bad word about the experience. First time in Manchester for my step-sisters 40th and we came across this amazing and cute pub! Lovely atmosphere with a charming young bartender called Joshua who is a very witty individual to say the least and had my sister in stitches all night! Will definitely return here again shall I find myself in manchester!”

“Traditional pub. Only had one quick drink. The pub had a few in it. Nice relaxed atmosphere. It's in Didbury Village near a lot of other bars and pubs. Maybe one to stop off, have a drink and check out, whilst bar hopping. Didn't notice menus, so not sure if they serve food. I will have to go back and check, lol, or Google it, but I'd prefer to go back... to be continued...”
