Having lucked out on getting a table after 2 years of living nearby, I relished the chance to review them. The space is warm but snug. Large parties will struggle especially with COVID restrictions. Not an issue in summer, but a possible one in Winter. They’re dog friendly as they have some seating outside, so please specify this when booking. Onto the primi piatti! Expect luscious pasta cooked to the correct side of al dente. It seems to inhale the sauces that make use of the starch and premium stock in lieu of cream. All making for a far more palatable meal. And the sauce. The term does not do the flavours and texture justice. The melange of spices and components be they vegetarian or not, are sublime. Just a taste of the seafood pasta alone conveyed everything in one bite. Not to be outdone, their beverage selection is nothing short of brilliant. The chinotto brought back fond memories of Kinni cola. Sadly I did not have time to partake of dolce but will endeavour to do so next time.”

“11 icehockey players looking for somewhere good to eat entered & were greeted with open arms seating us all together & then took our drinks order. Whilst waiting for us to decide what we wanted they supplied us with several baskets of prawn crackers with dips & they were really tasty & not like a chippy. The food came out in baskets too with a choice of cutlery or chopsticks!. Overall the food was excellent the drinks flowed & the service was always there making sure we was being looked after & top marks excellent!. Definitely will be recommending this place to friends & family.”

“Firstly I think it’s important to note this is a cafe that is connected to a family support centre and counselling service. It’s cheap and it is supposed to be somewhere accessible for people who access the services next door, as well as for anybody who uses the park. I actually came here not because of this but because I had attended a baby class in the adjoining room, so my friend and I had coffee and cake here. It’s a great little place, so cheap and the staff are friendly too. There’s a seating area outside as well for warmer days. It’s a lovely little cafe if you’ve had a walk in the park or want to meet a friend with your little ones. They also offer a range of food and I’ve-cream in summer, but we always went primarily for coffee and cake, both of which were always spot on. We used to go here every week after baby classes, and will continue to do so after Covid. This cafe definitely deserves our support so that it stays open in the future.”

“The hotel could do with some updating however there are no real complaints with my stay. Ample room in the car park, the cooked breakfast was made to order with no restrictions on quantities and the staff were beyond helpful, friendly and accommodating. Check-in is normally 3pm however I needed the room sooner due to a wedding and they were happy to accommodate us. Would stay again if i needed somewhere to rest after a night out.”

Delicious food home cooked and the restaurant owned by the chef, his mother in the kitchen and his wife front of house. Kid yourself no more this is the real deal and delicious- a must try !!!!”

The staff were helpful, polite & friendly & the cleanliness of the establishment 5 stars! I had a really tasty Prawn main meal with subtle spices/coconut flavours which was delicious......5 Stars! “A superb restaurant. We visited twice in a space of a month after getting a take away from them while at friends of ours. On the first visit, there was a very noisy table of 10 people and the waiter offered to move us downstairs, which was perfect. The food was good from the takeout but in the restaurant it was fabulous. Last night was our second visit and thankfully, although the restaurant was full, the atmosphere was very pleasant. Service was excellent and if I could ask for anything to be changed at all, is to ask for our food to come soon after the popodums and dips. It seems the popularity of the restaurant making it particularly busy on Saturday night on the takeout side, so while orders go out to be collected we had to wait for our food a little more than we'd want to. Again, this would never stop us from going again as it is simply one of the best Indian meals we had for a long time!”

“By chance I discovered this recently opened little gem of a cafe in Hale Village adjacent to the railway station. This cafe is on the second floor above an art gallery and is immaculately clean and simply but tastefully decorated. Very polite and attentive staff with a good selection of nicely cooked food and drinks at very reasonable prices. It is an ideal location to relax and meet your friends for a coffee or a light meal throughout the day.”
