The evening was a happy occasion, with visiting family from Yorkshire, and the staff & food made it a wonderful evening. Just enough attention was given to us by the staff, who left us to enjoy our food. Which was all wonderful; the hummus dip starter might have been the best hummus I’ve ever had; creamy and rich and to die for. The option to bring your own booze was also a welcome addition, helping to lead to a very reasonable final bill.”

“Greeted at the door. Took my son for a post football treat. Not that normal sort of place as is aimed at discerning diners/lunch seekers, we were lad and dad brunch seekers! The lady and gent that served us were really attentive and alert. Lovely with my 8 year old too. Divided things on menu to accommodate us and just made us feel like we could stay there all day it was that relaxed. Food was of a high standard and arrived still warm and fresh from the oven. Scotch bonnet chilli sauce was especially good which we got with our pizza. The sorbets are well above average too. All in all a great place, loved it! We were served by Elle and Isaac. “Had a meeting and lunch here. The meeting room was very spacious, the tech all worked and there are plenty of plugs. Tea and coffee provided, along with some biscuits. Staff very helpful throughout. The lunch was nice too, not too pricey for quality food, had the seabass, calories printed on the menus which is very helpful. Pint of MPA on cask was in perfect condition!”
