Gorgeous interior, friendly staff (very accomodating of my iced coffee request on a lovely sunny day in saddleworth), delicious healthy food options that are a refreshing change from the usual village coffee shop offerings. Also I absolutely love all the diary alternatives that they offer and so nice not to be charged extra for choosing coconut milk. Will carry on recommending people to visit”

“We went to Terra & Mare on Christmas Day and it was absolutely amazing. I was in charge of booking a restaurant for our family Christmas Day meal. I found Terra & Mare online, and although the reviews were excellent, I was still a little apprehensive because I had never eaten there before and I just wanted everything to be perfect for ourselves and my parents. Well, thanks to all of the amazing staff at the Terra & Mare our Christmas Day was absolutely perfect. From the second that we walked through their doors, you could tell that you were in great hands. They immediately took our jackets and sat us at our table, then within a minute or two they brought us some drinks over. Every single member of staff was so attentive and couldn't do enough for you, and they did it all with a huge smile on their face. There were five of us in our party, and each and every course that we had was absolutely delicious, and there was nothing that you could fault. This was the first time that we had managed to be together as a family at Christmas for three years, so thank you to everyone at the Terra & Mare for helping to make this one absolutely perfect.”

“Had the Nashville burger combo. The burger was the biggest chicken burger I have ever had! The taste was nice, had a kick too it but not too hot to make it too much to enjoy. The fries were tasty as well and they gave me 3 dips without me asking :) one was white, the other orange (like chipotle mayo), and one which I didn't even notice til I had finished my food which looked like a chili/spicy dip. Overall good taste and the pricing is fair/reasonable so you definitely get your money's worth in my opinion.”

We had an issue a couple of weeks ago where the driver couldn’t find the address which meant our food arrived a little bit late and cold. However, really blown away with how they dealt with the issue. We reached out to them and they offered to send us free meals at a date and time of our choosing. “Myself and my partner took my parents here on Saturday night when they had come up to visit. It was a fairly last minute booking so the only time available was 8.30pm but it was so worth it. We arrived a little early and it was very busy! There was a large group leaving and there were another large group sat down at the table. We were told we could wait at the bar and order a drink. The man at the bar was lovely, though clearly very busy dealing with drinks orders for tables as well as the 6 people standing at the bar, but we were happy to wait. By the time our drinks orders were done a table was ready and we were taken to be seated. Every member of staff was a delight in there. And the food? AMAZING. As we finished up our meal the chef came out to ask how our meal was. What a lovely guy! We had a little chat with him before leaving. As we left and got in a cab the chef came running out with my dad's phone and glasses he left at the table. Can't wait to go back. So glad we booked here.”

Cost more than plenty of restaurants, but not ridiculous either considering it was all very nice. A few reviews mention weirdness with the staff (probably gone now), we had nothing like that.
