INNSiDE by Meliá Manchester
● Open“Stayed here recently and it was a treat, from entering the staff were super helpful. The room was incredibly spacious and the shower area is not separated by a wall, so imagine you'd have to be close to the person you're staying with! For me, this wasn't an issue but maybe for some. The gym was great, small but decent kit and the sauna and steam room a total treat too! The breakfast has loads of choice and again, staff very friendly. I would LOVE to go back soon. There is a mini art gallery on the first floor too and it is in a great location, close to Deansgate Station, Oxford Road and so much more.”

Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity, St. Peter's Square, Manchester
● Open“Really loved staying here. The room itself was very nice, stylish, functional and comfortable. The bathroom was fantastic, the kitchenette has everything you need to prepare your own meals (not that I cooked), and the wifi was very reliable. I was booked here by work to stay here for 3 nights and I was able to easily book an extra night myself and the hotel staff were able to easily arrange for me to stay in the same room and not have to check out and in again. I will likely stay here next time I'm in Manchester. The only negative thing I would say is that the lifts are slow or there are not enough of them, because I always had to wait and there always seemed to be people waiting to use them.”

Holiday Inn Manchester - City Centre, an IHG Hotel
● Open“Stayed for a few nights, service from the staff was outstanding, I have very rarely seen such a feindly and dedicated bunch of people. I had a minor heath issue with my wife while staying and the female on duty in the early hours of the morning was outstanding arrange taxi, making sure my wife was OK and supplying advice. This person went out of her way the next day to check up on my wife to ensure she was OK. The young staff working in the dinning area were so helpful and friendly. All staff went out of there way to help and make our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel as a 5 star accommodation.”

YHA Manchester Hostel
● Open“A great hostel, with bar and breakfast. We arrived around mid-night and the bar was open for beers and food, which was awesome. The bedrooms were super clean and warm. The bathroom didn’t have pressure on the watwr and was small, but it was inside the room so we didn’t have to go to the one at the end of the corridor.”

ibis Manchester Centre 96 Portland Street
● Open“Just returned from one night at this hotel. Me and my boyfriend only had 1 problem which was 1 dirty towel. Other than that you can complain for the price. Comfy bed and room appeared clean. Great location and friendly staff. The room was small but I expected that and the bathroom reminded me of a train toilet but bigger but its budget so again I expected that. Had tea and coffee facilities and a little wardrobe area and desk. We parked in the q Park piazza behind the hotel for £22 for 24 hrs with the 25% discount from hotel. I would stay here again :)”

Mayfield Park
● OpenBaring Street, Manchester M1 2PY, United Kingdom“Truly one of the most stunning city parks I’ve seen. Love the mixture of industrial features interlinked with nature. A delight to behold and a park to treasure. With its fantastic play park, the river meandering its way throughout and it’s fantastic facilities (2x incredible disabled loos,) it will be a much loved open space for the people of Manchester and the surrounding area. Well done to all involved in its creation and preservation.”

Whitworth Locke, Civic Quarter
● Open74 Princess Street, Manchester M1 6JD, United Kingdom“My partner and I stayed at the Whitworth Locke for five days and Sanjay and the staff were very kind and attentive. The room was spacious--if a bit dark--and packed full of all kitchen items plus all the coffee, milk and sugar caffeine addicts like me need. The room accents were a lovely touch. I appreciated the 24-h gym. We will be staying here again. The staff at the front desk are exceptional in their customer service. I am awarding the hotel five stars, yet on one night (a Monday, if you can believe it) a party or reception of some kind with a DJ was thumping till 1 a.m. When we met with the reception staff about this--because we had been told that the busy bar right underneath our room would be instantly quiet at 11 p.m. (which it always was)--we were informed that the event was a private one held by the hotel's own manager or owner or someone with an intimate connection to the place, and lowering the volume or at least toning down the thumping bass was out of their control. I would like to inform the party host that your guests do not like to lie awake until 1 a.m. or they will cease to be future guests. In spite of this, all the extras, including the spacious room and the amenities and staff still rate our stay there with five stars.”
-
Royal Mills
● OpenRedhill Street, Ancoats, Manchester M4 6JG, United Kingdom“The epitome of New York style loft apartment living but right in the middle of Manchester. You are in the middle of a noisy city yet at night it's so quiet you'd think you were alone in the veritable middle-of-nowhere, probably something to do with the thick 19th century walls. An amazing glass house structure covers the whole of the centre of the quad and coffee drinkers can be often seen imbibing in this area. The building is grade II listed, which means the outside character and look has to be maintained. 24hr concierge and security along with hot water and heating included in the service charge really do make this one of the most desirable residences in central Manchester.”
