“Only my second visit which seems daft as this is a cracking pub and a mecca for real ale drinkers. It is only a few minutes walk over the Irwell into Salford. The beer selection did not disappoint. I had a lovely pint of Wigan Brewhouse Soul Train. Really friendly pub on a lovely little square.”

I have been going to Nav for the last few months and his haircuts are better than any I have ever had before. “I've been coming regularly for nearly two years and have always had a decent cut. I normally book in advance because it can get busy. Barbers are friendly and will talk if you want to talk, or just get on with it in silence if that's your thing. They take their time to give a good cut. Clean interior, and a decent price for a city centre barber.”

“Get living, new marker yards amazing apartments !! I’ve been living here for almost 3 months and it’s amazing; moving in was smooth and Selina made my job easy. I settled in very quick with all her help, showing me around the complex and making me feel welcomed. I would definitely recommend to anyone moving to Manchester, it’s a great location and the team are very helpful at all times. The apartments are very cosy and spacious, I stay in a 1 bedroom and I can say it’s the perfect size, with good storage facilities and the design layout of the apartment is perfect. I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

“Great cinema, probably one of the best I’ve been to. Went to see John Wick and the price was very good. What made it was the spacious & comfortable reclining leather seats, large drinks holder trays which fit my drinks, snacks and handbag! It was so comfortable I even took my shoes off and got super cosy. You can also get alcoholic beverages to take into the theatre! I’ve never seen this before so it was a nice added touch. Would recommended.”

“Salford Dock Uswim. Brilliant first impression. Well organised, polite and helpful staff and spotters in boats and paddle boards watching over us all. Hot drinks and cake can be purchased too when you've finished your swim. £10 a swim payable in cash only.”
