“Great location by an airfield. We did Ring Of Red around Manchester and called in here for a very welcome cuppa. Incredibly busy with lots of red clad bikers, like we do when we impersonate a giant poppy, ha. Long queue, but on the ball staff who served efficiently. Tea was good and not UHT either, whuuup, whuuuppp. Loads of seating inside and out with great views of a very active airfield. First time here, I'll be back.”

“After a nice walk down the local loop line and a play on the park, the café in the village is a fabulous place to head for. Warm and welcoming staff, serving delicious hot and cold food. The kids love a nice hot chocolate and sticky bun. The traditional post office is still tucked in the corner for your convenience too. Thanks for being there, see you again soon.”

“Friendly busy pub. Always a smile at the bar. Welcoming locals to the "comers in". Sporting events advertised on Facebook so you know what's coming up so you can get chance to make your excuses to the wife (or husband) for missing the family event in advance. Nice beer garden to the rear.”

“Back to the way pubs used to be, there was a real sense of welcome on arrival, and also a lot of looks from the locals as I was a new face. I instantly got talking to the guy on the stool next to me followed by another local who also seemed keen to socialise. Quite a few in the big room watching football, a few people to the sides reading books and the papers. The fact its attached to a restaurant lends itself to staying for that extra drink, and taking a meal home to appease the wife! Really nice bar and environment, it's back to how pubs used to be, makes a really refreshing change.”

“Had a lovely Sunday lunch with family. They really looked after my mother in law who is on oxygen due to pulmonary fibrosis. Food was lovely and the staff were really welcoming, friendly and fun. The hotel, as you would expect for a wedding venue, does have really picturesque and well kept gardens, and for me it was an undiscovered gem. We will be back for afternoon tea very soon. “Get living, new marker yards amazing apartments !! I’ve been living here for almost 3 months and it’s amazing; moving in was smooth and Selina made my job easy. I settled in very quick with all her help, showing me around the complex and making me feel welcomed. I would definitely recommend to anyone moving to Manchester, it’s a great location and the team are very helpful at all times. The apartments are very cosy and spacious, I stay in a 1 bedroom and I can say it’s the perfect size, with good storage facilities and the design layout of the apartment is perfect. I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

“It's a theatre upstairs with a good hall on the ground floor, serving samples of cuisine from Vietnam, Japan, Taiwan, among others. Halal chicken is available from the bao and Japanese vendors. Great, friendly service. I look forward to visiting again.”

“Small local pub (Circus Tavern next door even smaller. ) Located in heart of the city. Refreshing change from the trendy bars. Been many times. Good Hydes beer but limited selection due to size. Toilets to rear in what was once an uncovered alley. Many years sgo the local Police foot patrol would pop in for a cheeky pint in said alley.”

“Celebrated a birthday with work and the food and service were incredible! Food was cooked fresh with good size portions. The owner and staff went out of their way to serve us and provide our order. I'd recommend the chicken jalfrezi. A top night!”
