“I was looking for some gardening tools in the area and I got hungry, looked around and could not find anything that would satisfy me, and my wife as well, we actually passed this place once as well, until we decided we want to try the food here, I ordered these nice hummus bites made with sourdough bread, the cheese softness and the vegetable crunch was spot on, and after that I had the cous-cous salad with hummus, I can guarantee every single ingredient was freshly added in the salad as I could hear the man over the counter chopping up vegetables, I am mainly a carnivore, but this salad had every single taste that you can think of, slightly sweet and sour from pickled beetroot and pickles, nice crunch and freshness from the vegetables, very tasty cous cous, all that dipped in this very nice hummus, which I think is also made there(would not be surprised), as I was sipping from my decaf coffee, which was tasting very much like actual coffee, even the smell was there, we ordered this very nice pie, that was like eating creamy clouds that would melt in your mouth and make you wish you had more! A brilliant hidden gem, I recommend it with all my heart, if you are passing through or if you are local, if you want to take your special other out for a treat this is the place to go!❤️”

“A very nice place to visit for breakfast. I had the ‘full English’ which was excellent - large portions of all the right ingredients. Beans not exactly to my liking, neither the method of serving tea, but for most people they would probably be OK. Excellent service by a happy, cheerful and well organized waitress. Decent value for money.”

“Fabulous food. The quality of produce and level of spice was perfect. From starters to nan as a party of 7 didn't have a single complaint. Restaurant was extremely busy throughout our visit which is a testament to the establishment and explains our level of enjoyment.”

“been here with partner s few times for breakfast and it’s very good and staff very polite and friendly. been in for a brew and a cake too and i can’t fault it and apartments look lovely like the peachment place apartments and other bistro , peachment is a bigger one the manager there in the bistro is trying her best but the young staff are still learning and not the quickest but hey i’m sure it’ll get better soon , i think it’s very handy for the residents and not much cooking and i’d live there definitely.”

“From the outside this pub hasn’t got much to get excited about but once you walk through the door, inside is the complete opposite. Lovely little pub , cosy and welcoming and very clean ! The staff are very experienced and absolutely amazing. Also the pub‘s mascot pooch is a little cutie”
