Made from scratch this place is awesome and I have it every weekend Rudy and the team are 100% consistent in delivering high quality restaurant standard food every time!! Simply the best Caribbean food you will taste unless you go to Jamaica!! If you haven’t already tried it I would 100% recommend you do I promise you won’t be disappointed, be quick though because the amazing homemade patties and wraps don’t last long!!! Simply Fantastic”

“Very nice food. Came across it in 2019 when on a stadium tour in Manchester from London. Back again in 2022 on a visit to Blackpool but had to drive to Manchester for a taste at Yeah Man. Must try the jerk chicken. Home made and not from a bottle.....fantastic!!!!!”

“I’m Gna give the stars. Mainly for the service. The food was good. Not like wow factor but tasty and good. For the money..... it’s very good value. The staff are really good. Like really really good! I asked an opinion on a dish the chap servicing me was quiet a big guy. Kept calling me brother and called my wife sister which was really nice of him ..... the guy got the dish out from the kitchen ! Just to show me ! That’s some serious stuff. Really kind. Really cold glass of water. We ordered half chicken and a Parmeasan dish too. I will always go back. I go there a lot but never left a review. But as for my last visit. This is needed.”

“I'd initially booked a two week jaunt to South Africa for my Dads 60th and after months of uncertainty we got the call that it couldn't go ahead. Despite this, Black Opal had stayed in touch throughout the entire experience, reassuring us that they would do everything in their power to make it happen. Alas, it was out of their hands. Black Opal quickly arranged an alternative trip to Murrayfield to at least watch the Lions on home soil and what a day it was, we saw all of the players board the buses prior to playing and a stellar 3 course meal with guest speakers. We had great seats and the atmosphere was as good as we could of expected. Black Opal accommodated a payment method they did not previously accept for me to pay for the entire trip and we got great rates for the initial trip to South Africa and the revised trip to Edinburgh. I'd not used a travel operator before, but I can assure you reading this and Black Opal I do not intend to go elsewhere ever again for sports excursions. Special mention to Ben Collis for the initial handling of my enquiry but my utmost thanks and appreciation goes to Kathryn Morris who was instrumental in the handling of our initial trip when it was in limbo and arranging our trip to Edinburgh. I cannot recommend this group enough.”

“Salsa de Cuba! Fantastico! The ONLY authentic, Havana university trained dance teachers in Manchester. I have done all of their dance courses except one in the last 5 years. Juan & Susan have also given me the amazing opportunity to participate in many dance performances of which I am eternally honoured to have done. I also went on one of their Cuba holidays which was one of the best experiences ever! Not many dancers can say that they’ve even danced with their dance teachers beautiful family in their kitchen, in the heart of Havana with a live band.....you’ll never experience that on any other Cuba package holiday! “I had jerk bay chicken breast and my partner had the curried chicken, mine was cooked to perfection absolutely loved it, my partners salmon was a little undercooked but the staff handled it perfectly and made sure the food was cooked correctly and we was looked after perfectly couldn't fault their customer service. “As a Caribbean restaurant connoisseur, I have been to many restaurants across UK wherever I go. Although a lot of things listed on their menu were unavailable, I can definitely say I had the best rice and peas + Jerk chicken of my life. This was the ultimate calibrator to all my previous meals. The price was fair, the portions were so big I could have feast myself for 2 days. Thinking of that place makes my mouth salivate. If you are going to Manchester and you are into Caribbean food, or want to try, visit them. You won't be disappointed.”
