“This was our first escape room experience. We loved it!! The whole set-up was very well run from the briefing video at the start to the photo and lovely hot chocolate at the end. The staff were great. We did Merlin's Magic Academy and it was just at our level (Us two plus our 15 and 10 year old sons) ...we almost made it out within the hour :) Plenty of help during the challenge if required but it flows very well. Looking forward to returning and doing another room soon.”

“Great laid back cinema with comfy seating. You can get Pizza and beer to take into the film, perfect! Has an arcade and ten pin bowling attached and always has a great atmosphere! Staff are friendly and love dressing up for the latest releases! There were some sights for Avatar!”

“Lovely little bar in the middle of Heaton Moor. Whether it's a coffee or a beer this is the place to go. It's only small but super cosy. Dog friendly too. Staff are super helpful and friendly.”

“Enjoy some Indian and Persian food at Ivory IndoPersian Hidden away on the edge of Stockport, Ivory IndoPersian provides a mixture of Indian and Persian food. Each type of cuisine has its own chef, so make sure you order off the menu that you prefer - don’t expect your asian spices on the Persian dishes. It was really busy when we visited, and at full capacity it may feel a little cramped. Don’t let that deter you from trying it out though. The Indian dishes were; \Pani Puri [£3.50] - This was spicy and yummy, with mashed potatoes inside. The tamarind sauce was really tasty \Ivory Indian Special [For 2 £30.00] - Big, juicy, crunchy prawns just the way we like it and with a proper tandoori taste. The meaty lamb chops were done exactly how you want it \Achari [£12.90] - This was such a good recommendation from one of the owners. Sweet yet spicy and filled with a mixture of spices - such a good lamb curry The Persian dishes were; \Mix Mezze [£7.50] - Included the cucumber yoghurt, a mixed salad, hummus and yoghurt. The cucumber yoghurt was refreshing, the yoghurt tasted like plain, greek yoghurt - think it was meant to be garlic and shallots but this didn’t come through. The indian naan bread that came with it was nice, but a Persian flatter bread would have been better \Ivory Persian Special [For 2 £37.00] - Same as the indian special, the lamb chops were pure meat! The chicken was juicy, the flat kebab a little dry and the other kobedas cooked nicely \Zereshk Polow & Chicken [£12.90] - A sweet taste, quite like rose and saffron providing that unusuality. A simple, unique dish that was really nice The sweetness for the end consisted of the list below. We were so full by this point that they gave us little tasters so we could see what they were like; \Gulab Jamun [£5] - Pure yum but imagine with a bit of ice cream, this would have been heavenly. The cardamom wasn’t overpowering at all, which was nice L\emon Cheesecake [£5.60] - A tangy, refreshing hit \Baklava [£7] - Pure sweet, syrupy baklava We’ll be back to try some more of the Persian goodies Recommended for: Curries, Indian, Persian Service: High Price: ££ Halal: Full Menu”

“Went there today at 4pm. Ordered soup for my mum and I had prawn cocktail plus two roast dinners lamb it was absolutely delicious plus chocolate fudge cake and cheese cake will definitely be going again. Prices good for the quality of food.”

“We visit Rock Salt on a regular basis and have always leave with a very positive experience. The cafe bar has such a lovely vibe and the staff are always pleasant and welcoming. A special mention goes to Vera whose commitment to the business is both obvious and outstanding. Steve is also a lovely and hard working member of staff. Jamie has a great command of the kitchen … the team turns out food of a consistently high standard and we always thoroughly enjoy our meals there. “This was a quick sleep stopover between flights and I didn't have much of an expectation due to a recent stopover at another Travelodge. However, it was very clean and well maintained yet this is rated 2star?? (I stayed at Park Royal, where the carpet in the room was disgusting and toilet wouldn't flush, yet this was rated 4 stars!!!) Here at Stockport nothing was too much trouble as we checked in at 1am after a flight delay and this continued the following morning with excellent customer service from all staff. Definitely brought Travelodge back up the booking ladder for a stay in Manchester anyway.”

“If you traversed all of the British Isles you'd be hard pressed to locate a more astonishing chip shop than Bredbury Fish Bar. This is not a chippy, this is the chippy, the preeminent chippy and all other iterations of chippy's fall flaccidly to the wayside against the earth shattering grandeur of this establishment. I cannot recommend this purveyor of food strongly enough - words are not sufficient. It's imperative we continue to finance this operation for the good of humanity.”
