“A good large traditional pub with a decent pool table and a projector for sports events with a lot of space. Prices are good and the parking is decent. Usually fairly busy but was quiet on the last visit. Only recommendation... turn the heating off! Its summer.”

“A lovely, warm and welcoming pub with a great atmosphere. We had a great night, with an excellent service by very attentive staff. We didn't have to wait long for the food we ordered which was cooked perfect and served piping hot. Along with a few of JWL finest beers, overall a very nice experience and we will definitely be back. A very well managed pub.”

“Went here last week with my friend for a few cheeky afternoon drinks! We sat outside and had a lovely time. We felt very safe and secure and the drinks were great. We had a really pleasant afternoon. Customer service is excellent.. Warm and friendly. And we will most definitely be back again!”

“This is a takeaway that I consistently return to. Staff are friendly, albeit incredibly busy!! This is a testament to how good the food is though, lots of orders coming through from returning customers. The menu is extensive enough and caters for most palettes, they do a baked beans pizza! People usually go ‘ewww’ when I tell them but it’s the thing I order the most from here, consistently good! (1 of your 5 a day ha!) It has an open kitchen and a 5 star hygiene rating. Delivery is within the hour even at peak times, drivers are friendly and polite. I collect a lot from here and orders are usually ready within 20 minutes.”
