The Cheshire Set Nail lounge
“Love my visits to the Cheshire Set! Fabulous place for nails, massages, eyebrows and tans!”
The Clinic Cheshire
“Liz is the absolute BEST. I’ve had treatments elsewhere but she is so knowledgable, puts you at ease and honest - she will decline to treat if she doesn’t think something will work for you or you don’t need. Always thrilled with my results”
Cheshire Retreat
“the ladies here are lovely, we were down on a weekend away and they couldn't have been nicer. my nails were beautiful. wish we lived closer as I would definitely make this our regular salon.”
Cheshire Aesthetics & Beauty
“Christie is an absolutely fantastic therapist always more than happy with my treatments I won't go anywhere else very professional and total perfectionist.”
JAS JAS JAS
“I've been twice in the last 2 weeks for Friday lunch driving from Salford. It's worth the drive (50min)round trip. Great food with plenty of choice and lovely people working there.”
Les Beaux Papillons Salon
“Zoe is so good, I waited a whole 12 months to get my hair cut by her again. Really nice lady and a fabulous hairdresser. She really loves what she does. Shawney is also a good stylist. Haven't had my nails done for a while but Lisa has been my nail tech for years and is fabulous. Sophie of Contour Beauty is also amazing. Had a couple of treatments from her aswell. It's just a brilliant 1 stop shop for beauty treatments.”
Three Stories Beauty Salon
“Can't recommend the new Three Stories enough, a friendly, relaxed and professional service. I enjoyed a lovely couple of hours getting my nails and a spray tan done, both were perfect (I'm very fussy!). The salon has a new owner Jackie who is making lots very stylish changes and updates. I was told there will be a relaunch coming soon with lots of new products and treatments on offer and I can't wait to go back to be pampered again! There is an online booking that is so easy and convenient for making your appointments too.”
Me Time
“Great place, lovely atmosphere and the ladies who work there are all fabulous. I'd highly recommend Me Time.”
Simply Bliss
“My first visit to simply bliss to see Katie was great. I was a little nervous as I’m not a regular salon goer and I was booked in for waxing. Wont go anywhere else now, Katie was very professional and friendly and the job was done with speed and efficiency. I cannot recommend Katie enough she is fabulous at her job Thank you !!!!”
The Tens at Owen House Farm
“Very friendly and accommodating staff. Extremely well decorated and comfortable rooms. Excellent peaceful location - would definitely recommend!”
Ash Farm Country House
“Our second visit to Ash Farm and didn't disappoint. Another warm welcome from Jan, David and Christian. Rooms are lovely and clean and well stocked with the normal tea, coffee etc Breakfast is excellent, so much choice and cooked to order. 5 minute walk to Dunham Massey and lovely homely pub next door with a real coal fire”
The Swan Inn
“Very lovely pub. Lovely waitress called Evie who did a fab job. She was cool. Hope to see her again soon. Great food, exquisite! Very clean and tidy, could lick the floors and it would taste clean!!”
Wizards Thatch
“This is a beautifully decorated, rustic, enchanting hotel. The 400 year old building is very comfy and warm. An extremely relaxing environment. A fairytale feeling to the aptly named Wizards retreat. Welcomed by the owner Ian and introduced to the area, given plenty of ideas for eating and day out opportunities. The suite (Merlin Suite) was extremely comfortable, warm and a delightful place to stay. Cake, biscuits, teas and coffees and toiletries all included and of a high quality. Just an absolutely delightful stay which we plan to repeat to experience one of the other suites there.”
Pickmere Country House
“We stayed here to attend a family wedding; it was truly lovely. We enjoyed the food very much, the setting is very pleasant and the house is very characterful. The opposite of a Premier Inn or something perhaps. Our hosts could not do enough to help us.”
Cheadle Holistic Therapies
“Absolutely fabulous! I would 100% recommend Sharon for an amazing facial. I have the natural face life massage which is relaxing and has rejuvenated by skin & produced visible results after only 3 sessions”
Posh Bunny Motel
“We have used the pet boarding for our two guinea pigs several times and would never use anyone else. Tanya is amazing with the animals and they are looked after exceptionally well. The extra services are also great as the piggies usually come back smelling and looking fab!”
Swans Pool
“I like it here. A medium sized pond with a view up to the hills, on a quiet gravel road. Sometimes the cows come down to the water's edge, or the mist makes the whole scene gorgeous. Mallards, tufted ducks, coots, the occasional goosander, heron and kingfisher. Flocks of geese in the fields often. Swans nest here in the summer.”
Hickory's Smokehouse - Poynton
“Great food and friendly staff. Was busy on new years day yet food and drinks were fast and service was excellent. Kids love the cinema room and popcorn. An enjoyable experience for all. Highly recommended”
Waulkmill Waterfall
“If this was in the Lake District it would be a star attraction. Fortunately it isn't, so it remains very quiet and relatively unvisited. The approach from Bollington, past the derelict and dangerous Ingersley Mill, is interesting but worth it. Combine it with walks through Rainow, along Kerridge Hill and a visit to White Nancy and you have an excellent outing. But don't tell too many people otherwise it will lose its quiet charm.”
The Church House Inn
“Great cosy setting. Been a few times now and had roasts and pizzas, all very tasty and nice food. Staff are friendly and polite. My children played darts and pool the staff were very accommodating. Have been back a few times now and will continue to return.”
Tatton Park
“Really nice national trust park. Has a Cafe and lots of fresh farm produce shops available. Also has a farm and garden but I think they cost extra. Lots of wildlife to be seen along the trails. Only complaint is a lot of the trails are shared with cars and due to the location you often hear planes flying very low.”
The Spa & Treatments at Cottons Hotel
“A lovely clean and well set out place, unlike others I have been to. Really enjoyed the outside hot tub. I appreciated the complimentary refreshment. The afternoon tea was excellent, very tasty.”
Poynton Park
“This is a lovely park, not massive but very well kept with a couple of car park options if driving to it. The park has a lake which can be walked round, and grassland which when we went had sheep and lambs wandering around. Its a nice area, if you are expecting a long walk however, you'll probably need somewhere much bigger - but great if you have small people or just need to take dog out for a stretch of the legs!”
The Deanwater Hotel
“Recently visited The Deanwater for a Business Meeting. A beautiful venue with plenty of space, lovely food and friendly staff. Plenty of space in the meeting suites, could of just done with access to a few more plugs for the laptops but on the whole would definitely return.”
Northwich Sauna
“I'd never been to a sauna until today but I definitely picked the right one. Spotlessly clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I was nervous and I was given I guided tour of the facilities by a really helpful, chatty guy that put me at my ease. All the facilities advertised on the website were there and the terrace a perfect little sun-trap. Great music too and at just the right level. I had an amazing time. And I will be going back soon!”
Beautiful of Wilmslow
“Excellent service, very professional and friendly staff who know their stuff. Highly recommend!”
The Smoker
“Nice feeling to the place and good food with good portion and good price. Was great to see chips were not mandatory like so many meals out. Staff friendly and obviously get along making it very pleasant.”
Hartford Hall
“We stopped off here on the way home for food. They was amazing and very accommodating to us and our children. Our two kids are not the quietest but they was amazing here. They was given a little colour sheet and crayons. The food was amazing and very filling. The prices for us all to have starters, mains and desserts with a drink came under £100 which I thought was amazing!. Definitely want to return here but just with my husband.”
Vina Nails
“Used Vina Nails for the first time today, managed to get an appointment on Saturday for after work on Monday for a full set of acrylics with French tips after the salon I use cancelled my appointment at short notice. Lee did an excellent job, despite being super busy. And it’s one of the nicest set of nails I’ve had and the staff are lovely! I will definitely be returning”
