Traditional rice dishes in Manchester

“Whilst visiting Manchester we decided to go for a Chinese meal in China Town on a Thursday night. We weren't really sure of what to expect, just walking past many places I saw the menu and it had a good selection of vegan options so decided to take the plunge and popped in. The lady serving us was very friendly and opted for the chilli tofu with plain rice and my wife went for crispy aubergine. The kids ordered chicken chow mein (standard). It didn't take too long and became the highlight of my Manchester visit. Both the vegan dishes were sooo delicious I couldn't stop thinking about it days after ha.”

“Weve just ordered sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice, some veg spring rolls and portion of chips. They said they would be half an hr and came 5 mins early and food was nice and hot nothing cold. Nice friendly smile on delivery driver was really friendly. Food spot on and not overly greasy which it good. The veg and pineapple in the sweet and sour chicken is really fresh and the chicken peices are very generous. Would certainly recommend Chinese 4 u and would order from here again thank you.”

They are very considerate, if products are about to be expired or out of stock they would let you know before delivery and ask for your preference either to replace it with some other products or refund you, at least leave you choices not like many other grocery shops just chug some products that you don’t want in your bag. Their delivery service is quick as well. Definitely a good platform to buy Asian products”

“Nice food and friendly staff. We always get food coupon for the next visit as we ordered so much food. I love the spicy beef and roast duck with pancake. Lamb stew is a little bit watery with the sauce. The golden yolk fried prawn and tofu are very tasty too.”

“Best kebab I ve had in my life. The size of it could feed 3 of us. I specifically asked to have my nan well done and it arrived just perfect! Quality of the meet was so great that it melted in my mouth. So fresh and thin cut. They couldn’t do more. Defiantly my fave take away place so far. Ps. The driver was so polite and even came back to let me know I ve given too much money where really it was his tip. It just shows how honest and profecional they are. Fantastic services!”

“The reason for many a happy Sunday night! The Wok Inn is one of the best Chinese takeaways in the local area in my personal opinion. I have been ordering from here for easily a decade now and I have never been disappointed. The lady behind the counter is lovely and never hesitates to add in very generous extras for paying over certain prices. The food always tastes excellent and from what I can see the kitchen looks professional and very clean. Ordering is easy and quick and thr food is always ready upon arrival. Definitely worth a go if you happen to be in the local area.”

“Amazing Nkwobi with pepper!!!! The Nkwobi touched my soul. If you don't like pepper (and even if you do like pepper), you're probably safer asking that they don't put pepper in it. They've also got variants of Nigerian Alcohol, the Guinness reminded me of home. They've also got Orijin, if that's your thing. And there's something about Abacha on Sundays. Typical local Nigerian place.”
