The Windsor Castle
● Open1 Glossop Road, Marple Bridge, Stockport SK6 5EJ, United Kingdom“Called in 4 days ago when everywhere was snowed under and the roads were deadly with ice! The absolutely lovely landlady came rushing to the door and guided us into the warmth. She had one of the staff make a hot coffee for my husband free! I bought a lager and lime which was just perfect. While we were there two paramedics called in to use the toilets; and again, the landlady made them both a cup of coffee free of charge! What a lovely, down to earth lady! The other staff were friendly too. Really nice, traditional pub with wonderfully welcoming staff. Highly recommended! ☺️”

Harvey Leonard's Wine & Ale
● Open“Well, where do I start. It’s great here. Great but… Just a few negatives. Or development points - Only 1 free pint. Pitiful. - my drinking partner made me hurry my drink. I’ll drink when I’m ready. - not enough staff smelled of disinfectant - the noise was too ambient - it wasn’t overpriced enough - the mistletoe was too high - too many urinal cakes - the lady with grey beard behind the bar had a ‘ghost of Christmas past’ vibe Other than that a really pleasant experience. The right amount of gas and stemmed beer glasses too. 6 out of 5 for me.”

Straight away the landlady welcomed us into the pub. What a lovely landlady, very pleasant and willing to go the extra mile. The pub was warm and cosy with lovely decor. We had a nice meal and were not disappointed , the service was excellent. We don't live locally but will be back sometime with our wifes. Thank you for making our viste so special .”
