The other favorite is the mushroom soup, fresh made and creamy. If you want some dessert, I would highly recommend the Victoria sponge and fresh made pancake.”

“Came today for the first time with my kids and my elderly grandad. Must say i was so impressed, the staff are very lovely and attentive. Really polite and great with the kids. The food was really really nice, kids had chicken nuggets, I have the chicken sandwich and my grandad had scampi and all of us finished our food and throughly enjoyed it. Then desert grandad had crumble and kids had brownies. And it was such a good price what I paid for 5 of us under £50 with food deserts and drinks was definitly value for money. “Visited the Five ways for an afternoon buffet following a funeral. The bar staff were attentive and professional, dealing with the initial rush quickly. I've not been in this pub for 40 years or more and was pleasently surprised how smart and comfortable the place had become.......the buffet was the usual fare but tasty and varied.
