The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and they provided a wealth of information about these fascinating creatures. The highlight of the visit was getting up close and personal with the alpacas. They were friendly and curious, and I was able to feed and even touch them. The farm also offered alpaca walking experiences for £27.50, which was a unique and enjoyable activity.”

“First of all, a big thanks to Nanette for such a brilliant day! My partner booked the birds of prey experience for both of us as a Valentines Day gift and it was full of knowledge and fun! It was easy to see how much passion Nanette has for wildlife which we admired and we even put to bed any bad opinions on vultures as Nanette wanted to showcase how these birds are actually quite funny and interesting regarding how they have their place in disease prevention in third world countries. There are so many birds here and all are beautiful and have their own character. Thanks again for such a great knowledgeable day and we’ll definitely be back soon for the Meerkat experience! “Had a lovely Sunday lunch with family. They really looked after my mother in law who is on oxygen due to pulmonary fibrosis. Food was lovely and the staff were really welcoming, friendly and fun. The hotel, as you would expect for a wedding venue, does have really picturesque and well kept gardens, and for me it was an undiscovered gem. We will be back for afternoon tea very soon. “Nice place. Came here many years ago when it 1st opened using a Groupon. Had a few cocktails this time which were nice. Food prices on the high side but what I observed served looked very nice and plentiful. Cocktails on a certain deal are two for £12.00 Others a tenner each. Will be back when I'm hungry !”

“Visited here as I much prefer small independents to large chains. Surprisingly varied menu covering breakfasts through to lunches & afternoon tea. Food is freshly prepared & good quality. Friendly service & nice décor, courtyard garden for the warmer weather. Dog friendly. They can also cater for small parties functions etc. Been a few times now, becoming quite a regular!”

Park is excellent for kids, there were no particularly long waits (longest by far was probably 15 minutes), most rides were walk-on, so no queue. Only thing that could use some work are the toilets - getting a bit smelly through years of use.”

“What a fantastic day out! A perfect day outdoors with my two young children (aged 2 &4) with plenty to do. We particularly enjoyed the bouncy castle tent, the jumping pillows & the hay bales created hours of fun! Would definitely recommend to families and will be returning ASAP!”
