The food is superb with first class flavours and presentation accompanied by excellent wine. All of this at incredibly affordable prices makes it an experience not to be missed! “Enjoyed our visit here very much. The house is amazing and the staff are friendly & very informative. Lots of safe parking spaces. Lovely gardens and parkland to walk around. It was great seeing the deer who are very tame and placid wandering around the park.”

“A great place to walk a dog. I've been going to john Leigh park since for ever. The path all round is a great little walk. It has two park areas for the kids. One for bigger kids then further round one for the younger kids which has a fence all around it. It has a small aviary. There are always loads of people there when it's a sunny day and the ice cream man parks up in it on warm days too. It has tennis courts/ football/ and basketball courts. It is a very popular place with dog walkers so not a place to go if petrified of dogs.”

“What a cool place. Can imagine it's really busy at the weekend. Visited late on a week day and the staff were lovely. Such great cakes and bakes too offer. My hubby was really interested in the IPA on offer, can't beat a craft beer when out. Straight from the keg too. Will certainly be back for more”

“Been a few times since new owners took over now and thought it wasn't possible but prefer it even more. Staff are great and food is delicious, meal deals and offers make it great value as well. Definitely favourite chippy when at home.”

The cakes are just gorgeous, try the toffee and walnut loaf, who could resist that! Definitely worth a visit. Updated 3rd Feb Enjoyed a delicious take away latte from Bap today. Great to catch up with Marta, who is still smiling through the lockdown. Looking forward to trying my Gin with rhubarb and ginger, sounds delicious and made in Altrincham. Always good to see business coming up with innovative ways to keep going through these tough times. Seeing all the lovely big teddy bears sat at the tables in the cafe, really cheered me up. “Stamford Park getting ready for Spring time. Lovely walk in the park today, great to see the children enjoying the sunshine. The children’s play area is always very popular. Great tennis courts and plenty of room for adults and children to run wild and enjoy the fresh air.”

“Lovely old fashioned pub in Altrincham where you can have a pint and chat with people without the distraction of phones. The organic beer is a must try and the stout is also very nice. The staff is very helpful and polite. They don't take card payments so remember to bring some cash”

“Excellent location, views of Concorde right beside the cafe indoors and great views across the runways watching the air traffic landing & taking off. Good food at reasonable prices, friendly staff and ample seating indoors & outdoors, plus outdoor picnic tables nearby. Recommended, especially following the Concorde tour which we did. Recommeded!”
