“We chose Hilltop Country House as our wedding venue back in 2020 for our June 2022 wedding. It is perfection - the staff, the food & drink, the surroundings, etc. Our wedding day was simply magical. Clare was available for us whenever we needed her - nothing was ever too much and it made the wedding planning so enjoyable! I would highly, highly, highly recommend Hilltop Country House - there is a reason it has been voted the best wedding venue in Cheshire!”

“We stopped off here on the way home for food. They was amazing and very accommodating to us and our children. Our two kids are not the quietest but they was amazing here. They was given a little colour sheet and crayons. The food was amazing and very filling. The prices for us all to have starters, mains and desserts with a drink came under £100 which I thought was amazing!. Definitely want to return here but just with my husband.”

“Stayed for two nights as part of the New Year's Eve Gala Dinner package. Staff were excellent. Signature room we stayed in was very comfortable and modern. Food at breakfast, dinner and the NYE dinner all really excellent indeed. Nice temperature in the swimming pool and even nicer in the outdoor hot tub! Can't really fault this place and so would highly recommend a stay here.”

“Enjoyed a two night stay at the coachman. We were met on our arrival by Lyn the new landlady. Both she and her staff were very friendly . Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent cooked breakfast provided on both days. Our room was clean and comfortable. We also tried the new Thai menu one evening which was also very good. Lyn has worked hard to turn around the pub,after it's previous owner had let standards slip. Well done Lyn and your team.”

This is simply due to the amazing work Treacle town hounds have put into him and the guidance they have given us as a family to continue the hard work. “We had a very comfortable, well equipped room with ample Tea and coffee and biscuits available. Large TV with an excellent bathroom and walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Staff were very friendly and very helpful Andrea on reception was welcoming and efficient. The hotel is in a very peaceful, tranquil location it is a very old, listed building with character. Thank you to Scott the General Manager who gave us a tour of the night club which is undergoing a major refurb and uplift. A fantastic, atmospheric, period venue perfect for any occasion. We will definitely be returning when the hotel upgrades are completed in the summer.”
