One Plus Chinese Restaurant
● Closed“Absolutely amazing experience. And such good value for money. We came as a large group 20 people, it was explained to us simply how to use the hot pots and staff were so keen to help (keep our hotpot topped up, refill our water) food was amazing, and so many different types of vegetarian food and gluten free clearly labeled, we were so impressed, and surprisingly filled up. Would definitely eat here again.”

The Octagon Theatre
● Closed“Always a lovely experience in this gorgeous, intimate theatre. A thoroughly enjoyable interpretation of a Christmas Carol made fun and engaging by the multi-talented cast. Some care needed with the acoustics, using mics is great when it's performed in the round but the instruments can drown out the vocal at times..”

Hotel Motel One Manchester-Royal Exchange
● Open“Very reasonable price and fantastic location. Room was spotless and good amenities. Iron and ironing board provided on request. Free wifi and tv in each room. Also spotless. If I had to fault, the maid walked in in the morning at 8am, she did knock and walk in but I didn’t think I would need to put the “don’t clean” sign on the door as we were only staying one night. But overall a pleasant experience and would definitely stay again!”

INNSiDE by Meliá Manchester
● Open“Stayed here recently and it was a treat, from entering the staff were super helpful. The room was incredibly spacious and the shower area is not separated by a wall, so imagine you'd have to be close to the person you're staying with! For me, this wasn't an issue but maybe for some. The gym was great, small but decent kit and the sauna and steam room a total treat too! The breakfast has loads of choice and again, staff very friendly. I would LOVE to go back soon. There is a mini art gallery on the first floor too and it is in a great location, close to Deansgate Station, Oxford Road and so much more.”
-

Excellent idea of being able to order drinks for the interim period so you could just pick them up. Toilets were superbly clean. Such a grand place to visit and experience.”

● Open97 Oxford Street, Manchester M1 6FT, United Kingdom“Went to watch The Lion King. On the circle in row B. Really great show, it's a must watch. Leg room was tight. I'm 6ft 2 and I would definitely go for a front row seat next time. Easy to get too as the train station is 30 seconds away. Can't fault it.”

Holiday Inn Manchester - City Centre, an IHG Hotel
● Open“Stayed for a few nights, service from the staff was outstanding, I have very rarely seen such a feindly and dedicated bunch of people. I had a minor heath issue with my wife while staying and the female on duty in the early hours of the morning was outstanding arrange taxi, making sure my wife was OK and supplying advice. This person went out of her way the next day to check up on my wife to ensure she was OK. The young staff working in the dinning area were so helpful and friendly. All staff went out of there way to help and make our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel as a 5 star accommodation.”

And service was fast as well. No dedicated parking”
