“Food is immaculately good. We enjoyed a three course meal at Dishoom. The variety of food is great for Vegetarian and Vegans too. The unlimited tea lasts until 5pm Although, service is slow the food makes up for it. It was unbelievably hot on the day we visited, the air-conditioning was not on.”

“Sapporo Teppanyaki is a great place to dine. The food is delicious and a wide variety of items is available. From beef to lamb to fish to veggie options. They confirmed that the chicken and lamb is halal. The taste of their items is also very good. Sushi tastes great as well and so does their dessert. Booking is highly recommended if you want a place at one of the live cooking stations.”

“Some of the best Shawarma if eaten, period, and very reasonably priced at that, costing now £3.50 for a chicken shawarma wrap. Best thing for me is the freshly cooked bread with every wrap! - makes it! Thought this place had closed down until recently, but it just moved from the the tiny adjacent shop to next door. Glad to know the Manchester staple is back. Great friendly service also. Highly recommend!”

“Most authentic Mexican place I've found so far in the UK with actual corn tortillas and salsa Valentina! No longer called Pancho's so ignore that part on here but still a great place that offers burritos and much more like enchiladas! Only bad thing is that not all the drinks on show are available anymore but really loved finding this place and the staff were super nice and super friendly. Beers are £3-£3.50 and 2-4-1 between 6pm and 9pm so a bargain! Haha”

“Absolutely love this place and only wish I lived closer so that it was not only an option for lunch when I am at work. The owners are very friendly and happy to advise/recommend different dishes. The selection always has something interesting and the specials change just in time to offer a bit of variety. Most importantly always well cooked and delicious.”

“I've been ordering from here for just over a year. So this review isn't based on one meal. I've never seen a single order dip in quality. Every time has been consistent. The food we order is definitely value for the money and I have not had any issues with lateness. I will continue to use this place.”

“Had a great experience at Mowgli’s in Manchester’s Corn Exchange. Booking highly recommended. Great drinks list with a range of delicious cocktails and interesting wines. We ordered a bottle of the Romanian Pinot Noir which was very enjoyable. Food was great, but it is absolutely tiny portions, and as a table of 7 it would have been handy had the wait-staff advised us about portion sizes and encourage us to get two of each or something. Everyone was very excited about the yoghurt bombs so we ended up ordering another round of those, as well as the sticky chicken and angry chicken. The curries were excellent too, and we ordered more plus extra roti’s (flat breads). Three bowls of rice was plenty for the table. The bill worked out at £29 a head which was extremely good value.”

“Stayed overnight to see Peter Kay. Lovely hotel, large room with a very comfy bed. Huge television. Couldn't beat the price either. Didn't use the pub/restaurant but it looked great and lively. Amazing location and easy to get to from the train station. Will definitely stay again.”

“Difficult to find from Sat Nav but we got there in the end. It was perfect for us as we were there for The Dream Syndicate at Band On The Wall which was less than five minutes walk. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was busy as some football fans from Germany were there too. Their team got beaten 7-0 off Manchester City so understand subdued.”

“Booked tickets for me and some friends who were spending the day in Manchester. We had a brilliant hour upstairs on the open top bus. Great value for just £12. Clear commentary and information by the guide and a free map with information on Manchester and the route we took. Such a brilliant memory for us all. I definitely recommend”

“I’ve just had their beyond meat burger and it’s by far the best burger I’ve ever had! Not just vegan/vegetarian but any burger. It was so flavoursome and well presented. The chips were great too! Delivery was quick and I loved that the packaging didn’t include any plastic.”

“As far as Thai takeaways go this is up there and above the places I have tried before. Thai dumplings are very good, sticky rice is great, ribs are next level and the Thai red curry is excellent.”

“I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the hotel after reading previous reviews however it seems the owner's of this hotel have gone to a real effort to turn things around, everything was laid out perfectly for us the bed was made nicely and the bath run really nice with hot water, and with folded towels on the bed and free soap show minor details which would be expected on rooms much more expensive. Highly recommend for families my kids loved it. Also great location.”
