“Enjoy some Indian and Persian food at Ivory IndoPersian Hidden away on the edge of Stockport, Ivory IndoPersian provides a mixture of Indian and Persian food. Each type of cuisine has its own chef, so make sure you order off the menu that you prefer - don’t expect your asian spices on the Persian dishes. It was really busy when we visited, and at full capacity it may feel a little cramped. Don’t let that deter you from trying it out though. The Indian dishes were; \Pani Puri [£3.50] - This was spicy and yummy, with mashed potatoes inside. The tamarind sauce was really tasty \Ivory Indian Special [For 2 £30.00] - Big, juicy, crunchy prawns just the way we like it and with a proper tandoori taste. The meaty lamb chops were done exactly how you want it \Achari [£12.90] - This was such a good recommendation from one of the owners. Sweet yet spicy and filled with a mixture of spices - such a good lamb curry The Persian dishes were; \Mix Mezze [£7.50] - Included the cucumber yoghurt, a mixed salad, hummus and yoghurt. The cucumber yoghurt was refreshing, the yoghurt tasted like plain, greek yoghurt - think it was meant to be garlic and shallots but this didn’t come through. The indian naan bread that came with it was nice, but a Persian flatter bread would have been better \Ivory Persian Special [For 2 £37.00] - Same as the indian special, the lamb chops were pure meat! The chicken was juicy, the flat kebab a little dry and the other kobedas cooked nicely \Zereshk Polow & Chicken [£12.90] - A sweet taste, quite like rose and saffron providing that unusuality. A simple, unique dish that was really nice The sweetness for the end consisted of the list below. We were so full by this point that they gave us little tasters so we could see what they were like; \Gulab Jamun [£5] - Pure yum but imagine with a bit of ice cream, this would have been heavenly. The cardamom wasn’t overpowering at all, which was nice L\emon Cheesecake [£5.60] - A tangy, refreshing hit \Baklava [£7] - Pure sweet, syrupy baklava We’ll be back to try some more of the Persian goodies Recommended for: Curries, Indian, Persian Service: High Price: ££ Halal: Full Menu”

“Got the Naga Massala. I love spice, and this was really hot! Excellent flavour and probably one of the best curries I've ever had! Went really well with the garlic rice and Chilli Naan”

“Had takeaway from Mega House tonight - Crispy Duck pancakes etc. Excellent duck and a very good portion. Never had food from here before but now we have a menu will definitely use them again. Have seen some bad comments about the delivery men but our man tonight was excellent, nice guy and very polite.”

“First time I’ve tried this place, I had a Mexican burger with jalapeño on. The burger was thick and so good! Normally some takeaways there burgers look like road kill about 3mm thick. This was the opposite! Well impressed! The chips was great too! Would recommend this place!”

“Really, really great. Delicious food - my grilled prawns were gorgeous - butterflied whole prawns with a very tasty chilli sauce. My husband’s spare ribs were declared the best he has ever had!! The main courses - cod with three spice sauce, and their red Thai chicken curry were perfect. All done with excellent hygiene precautions.”

“Went for the first time last night, 30 min drive away but would definitely go again, quality of the food was spot on, big portions, and good service, 2 adults and 2 kids we had poppadoms mixed starter for two three curries 2 rice 2 chips and one naan plus drinks came to £110 can’t complain, highly recommend :)”

“Ordered a home delivery from them a few weeks ago, which arrived on time and still nice and hot and was delicious. Ate in last night and the place was spotlessly clean, nice decor, tables are well spaced etc. The warm welcome from the staff was really nice and the service was very good; attentive, but not pushy, Josh answered any questions we had about the menu, the food was delivered promptly and there was plenty of it. It felt as though the staff took pride in what they did and Josh in particular was brilliant. Will be going again very soon.”

“What a find! Checked into our Travelodge hotel at Adlington and we asked the receptionist for the phone number for Domino’s and she gave us your Menu. So glad she did. The service was amazing from order stage to delivery to eating it. Great value for money, and particularly the Tasty Meat Stuffed Crust pizza was sooooooo fresh and tasty! Will definitely order from here again if staying in the area - forget Domino’s! 10 out of 10 !!!!!”
