Staying city area in Manchester

“Clive is an amazing host. I have stayed with him twice already and plan to stay again. He met us on arrival and we were shown to a clean, bright double room. The bathroom was immaculate. We had use of communal spaces, so spent some time chatting over coffee. Clive has has a very interesting life, and his genuine care for people shines through. The property is close to the city. You can easily walk or take a taxi. Clive has a fantastic knowledge of the city, and will recommend places to eat if you need them.”

“Highly recommend these guys! Quick and efficient service from start to finish. Answered the phone quickly, explained how to share the location as I was stranded in the Trafford Centre car park with a flat tyre that cought a nail. Came out to change the tyre within 40 minutes from my call. The tyre fitter found me easily and changed it in 10 mins. Also good price in comparison to the big boys”

“I had my first appointment with Daniel at Freedom Care Clinics last week. He took the time to properly understand my issues and then explained really clearly my diagnosis. Really great treatment session and above all Daniel was really friendly and professional putting me at ease straight away. “Another visit another comfy stay. Initially given incorrect rooms but attended to very well by front desk. Great breakfast and friendly service. Bar service again a bit hot and cold. Not sure why but still to be made to feel welcome and comfortable by the staff in there ?”

“Great stay at the Cornerstones guest house. Spotlessly clean room - nice decor and loads of space. Had all the comforts I needed including a hairdryer. Lovely big bathroom, excellent shower and loads of space to put all my bits and pieces out. Free parking included. Lovely welcome and top notch host. Excellent vale for money.”

“What a charity! Ask any of the many family's they've helped. We would be 30 miles+ from our poorly new born whilst he was in hospital for treatment. More awareness sorely needed. “You book a 15 minute slot and he does a fast and very decent repair for a good price - brilliant. Used for 2 repairs already! Only thing I’d say is not to bother with the screen protector as it makes your touchscreen very unresponsive so ended up having to remove it.”

“Cheap modern and clean set up which was perfect for an overnight stay after going to a gig @ band on the wall ...literally about 100 yards down the road. Nice breakfast by the looks, but didn't partake. Would definitely use again for.the same reason... smack in the heart of the Northern Quarter of Manchester”

The rooms were clean & comfortable, the staff was lovely, the location is ideal (with the nearest tram station & city center being a 6 minute walk) I had the loveliest time here and would definitely return”

“Very reasonable price and fantastic location. Room was spotless and good amenities. Iron and ironing board provided on request. Free wifi and tv in each room. Also spotless. If I had to fault, the maid walked in in the morning at 8am, she did knock and walk in but I didn’t think I would need to put the “don’t clean” sign on the door as we were only staying one night. But overall a pleasant experience and would definitely stay again!”

“Fantastic location!!! If you're going to see a game at Old Trafford this spot couldn't be better. The hotel feels newer and clean, check in was a breeze, and breakfast for a Hilton Garden Inn was quite good. Will definitely stay again.”

“I came from London to watch a football game, the Hotel is right next to the Tram station, St Peters Square which was amazing and made everything easy, also is was like an 8min walk to the Shopping Centre and all other shops which made it easy. The Hotel staff were nice, the lounge was chilled and comfortable, the room was modern, clean, a bit on the small side but doesn't really matter since I'm not living there, the bed was so so comfortable and a clean and powerful shower. I've been to Manchester a few times now and this was the first time I stayed in this hotel and I will definitely be making it the hotel I stay at from now on.”

“Such a beautiful, historic (and modern) hotel! The hotel is Located within the Corn Exchange, giving immediate access to so many cool restaurants. I was upgraded to the incredible Guinea Suite! My suite was sooo quiet, no sound intrusion from other guests or street noise. I was only there for one night but I would definitely stay here again. When in Manchester, book here!!!”

“Really loved staying here. The room itself was very nice, stylish, functional and comfortable. The bathroom was fantastic, the kitchenette has everything you need to prepare your own meals (not that I cooked), and the wifi was very reliable. I was booked here by work to stay here for 3 nights and I was able to easily book an extra night myself and the hotel staff were able to easily arrange for me to stay in the same room and not have to check out and in again. I will likely stay here next time I'm in Manchester. The only negative thing I would say is that the lifts are slow or there are not enough of them, because I always had to wait and there always seemed to be people waiting to use them.”

“Vibrant area with plenty of restaurants. Arndale centre towers adjacent to the corn exchange which does not have a dedicated car park. Parking can be a nightmare for first timers. The adjacent shopping malls offer paid parking at a premium so allow some time to navigate the maze of road works, one way streets and the short walk to your destination.”

“Stayed for a few nights, service from the staff was outstanding, I have very rarely seen such a feindly and dedicated bunch of people. I had a minor heath issue with my wife while staying and the female on duty in the early hours of the morning was outstanding arrange taxi, making sure my wife was OK and supplying advice. This person went out of her way the next day to check up on my wife to ensure she was OK. The young staff working in the dinning area were so helpful and friendly. All staff went out of there way to help and make our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel as a 5 star accommodation.”

“Great reasonably priced hotel, you always know what to expect with a Premier Inn and I think this stay was a little better. We only stayed for a night but felt taken care of, and made use of the features of the Premier Plus room, including the mini fridge and Nespresso coffee machine. After we arrived I went back down to ask if we could get any soya milk to make tea/coffee with, and the staff couldn’t be more helpful, and got us some from the kitchen to take up and use, and they definitely weren’t stingy about it, we got a litre! Mini fridge came in handy there. I’d highly recommend this hotel and the staff were just great. Also if you park in the MediaCityUK multi-storey car park adjacent to the premier inn, make sure you get your parking validated at reception to bring the price down to £11 for 24hrs”

“Cannot fault this place. Room was perfect, spotless and had everything we needed - including an iron, hairdryer plus extras like bath robes. Breakfast each morning was lovely, lots of choice and fresh made. We had room on the 16th floor so night time was just beautiful. Nothing was a problem for staff who were chatty and friendly even when it was super busy. Would most definitely stay here again.”
