“I have just enjoyed a three day golf break at the Mere with 20 friends and we all had a wonderful time. The rooms are delightful, clean and well designed, the food is excellent, and most importantly, the staff are all friendly and helpful. One morning, I heard cleaning staff singing to themselves - happy workers is always a sign of a good company. Thanks to all those who made our three days memorable.”

“Quick overview for three night stay with young child. Very helpful & efficient reception/check-in. Beautiful, clean, warm, well serviced bedroom. The only hot food available is bar food in the cafe. Such a let down! The little one largely only eats pasta & they ran out..crisis! Fabulous health club…surely the Spa bath is the most perfect in the country? Big, v warm, comfortable, sublime setup inc lighting/setting. Overall strongly recommend.”

“Cheshire Wellness Centre is a slice of heaven. The centre offers such an amazing sense of calm to help dissolve all your worries. Founder Bob is an amazing host, making you feel welcome and safe in what can be such a daunting experience when starting your mental health journey.”

“Cannot recommend this place highly enough, such a gorgeous gym and yoga space in beautiful surroundings. Martina and the team are fantastic and have helped me to actually stick to a fitness regime as I enjoy each and every session and get personalised advice which you just don't get from other gyms without paying premium prices. The new monthly memberships are great value for money and there are so many different classes to try. Would definitely recommend!”

“This is a lovely park, not massive but very well kept with a couple of car park options if driving to it. The park has a lake which can be walked round, and grassland which when we went had sheep and lambs wandering around. Its a nice area, if you are expecting a long walk however, you'll probably need somewhere much bigger - but great if you have small people or just need to take dog out for a stretch of the legs!”

“Played Mottram Hall today and felt compelled to leave a good review. The course was awesome. Nice wide fairways with plenty of features and character. Interesting greens with tricky pin placements and lots of bunkers to catch you out. The course was in really good condition. I have played a few courses in the area and so far Mottram is my favourite. And it’s long, so plenty of opportunities to use the driver and fairway woods. We paid £25 each for a twilight round mid-week which is an absolute bargain.”

The staff was a delight, Laura in the spa could not have been more helpful and pleasant if she tried, Christian the GM was so kind and welcoming and the staff in the restaurants went above and beyond. The property was beautiful and I left with the commitment to return as soon as possible. I 100% recommend staying at Mottram Hall and enjoying everything they have to offer. Wonderful property, amazing food, incredible staff and overall fantastic experience. A massive thank you to everyone at Mottram, I will be back!”

“I have been trying to find environmentally conscious sports brands for a while now, and Carrot Banana Peach have been excellent start to finish. the products I bought (bamboo shorts, cotton shorts, bamboo tracksuit bottoms) have all been excellent quality and all perform just as well if not better than 'regular' sports clothing. The Bamboo is particularly soft on the skin, probably the best tracksuit bottoms I've owned (as a tennis coach this is a lot!). When an item I ordered was out of stock I was called straight away and offered an alternative with good personal advice. Order also arrived the next day in environmentally friendly packaging. Can't fault them really. Strongly recommend if you are after eco friendly active wear at a good price.”
