City Skills part of Salford City College
● Closed“I've been attending City Skill for almost a month. Everything is perfect and the teacher is very good and patient The only thing I don't like about City Skill is the place where it is, near a waste collection site. It really is disgusting the bad smell every morning and then breathing it also not good for health. Strange that no one has ever protested about this. The college deserves five stars but the place where it is less than zero.”

She corrected where I was doing wrong which I never realised! We worked on my strokes, arms kicks body positions and tumble turns and a lot of other stuff. I definitely improved a lot.I am so glad I took these lessons it’s definitely worth it!”

Footlights Theatre School & Academy
● Open“Our 7 year old daughter attended for 1 week last week during half term. She loved it and was very happy every morning and night. There were plenty of staff and it seemed very safe when I arrived each night. The location was handy as my wife and I both work I different offices on the quays. We travel from bramhall direction and having somewhere close to work removed the usual half term stress of having to get back home in time. The actual set up internally looked fantastic, other half term clubs have been in 'rent by the day' school halls and seemed to not have have the advantage of purpose built resources. All in all, it is well run, safe and our daughter had a lovely week there. Thanks to all the team at Footlights!!”

Futureworks
● Closed“The university was an amazing help to me as a student it pushed me to keep trying my hardest, the staff were very supportive from the Student Services to the tutors who encouraged me and gave me great feedback for my work. They've also adapted themselves well to the Covid-19 situation allowing students to have online classes but will be able to see tutors with social distancing measures put in. I can not thank them enough for the 3 years of support they have given me.”

Kidzrus Private Day Nursery Media City
● Closed“Picking a nursery as a first time parent isn’t easy, and probably one of the biggest decisions you will make towards building your child’s future in the first year of parenting. We certainly didn’t know what to expect or know how our little one could be loved and cared for like she is at home, but the minute we stepped into kidzrus media city we just knew that our little girl was going to be more than ok. The staff were so welcoming and professional, the nursery was so beautifully presented and the children were all so happy and content. Isabella has been loved and cared for like we could never have imagined. The professionalism and quality of care the nursery provide is amazing and has got better and better during Isabella’s journey. We can’t believe the time has come for Isabella to go big school, we will miss kidzrus very much! We would highly recommend kidzrus media city they always go above and beyond to delivery the best childcare.”

Revive Dental Care
● Closed“I recently attended for an emergency appointment having not seen a dentist for over 4 years and having had a phobia since childhood and suffering from PTSD. I cannot fault my experience there, from the lovely ladies on reception, to Amy the dentist and her assistants, the level of care, compassion and understanding of my needs has been exceptional. I am now registered with her and have been speedily referred to an oral surgeon for some of the work and we have a plan to move forward and sort the rest of my teeth too! My phobia is far from cured but this is the first positive experience with a dentist in a long time, hence the review!”

Manchester Film School
● Open60 Great Ducie Street, Cheetham Hill, Salford M3 1PT, United Kingdom“Studied hear for three years after going to university in London for 2 months and leaving as I knew it wasn't the right course. I came by this course by chance and it was the best decision I made. During the three years I managed to secure work experience (Paid) on Feature Films, Commercials, Documentaries, and TV Shows. Even had the opportunity to work for Burberry Fashion, and with Keira Knightley and Ralph Fiennes. Without the first opportunity from MFS I'd never have been able to have those opportunities. The skills and knowledge I learnt from this school have helped so much even in experiences where I may have not been working in Film and TV. Yes, the tutors can be hard on you, however it's because they know you aren't working to your full potential and they want you to grow and be the best YOU can be. The equipment they have is also unbelievable and they have fantastic relationships with kit hire companies giving you even more experience.”
