“Such a nice walk. See the lake, ponds and resivoir. Lots of different paths to take. Walked through the cow field with no bother at all and petted the horses. Some lovely views.”

It’s become my usual spot for a pizza, can’t see myself having to go anywhere else, decent prices on the food also.”

“Absolutely amazing - honestly couldn't recommend more! My 2 year old has gone from terrified of the word "haircut" to leaving Lisa saying "I likey haircuts!". She's brilliant with kids, really takes the time to put them at ease, explaining everything she's going to do first. She's got a wonderfully bubbly personality and lots of toys/distractions on hand to help keep little ones calm. This is the only place we're ever going now!”

“Fantastic authentic Italian cuisine at a reasonable price, great service and a passion for food and impressing the customer. Very good menu of Italian favourites as well as some more items that show off the Italian pedigree. Fantastic thin crust wood fired pizzas that are also very popular to collect and takeaway. Good choice of wine and beverages with a focus on italian beers, all your favourites are here. Nice atmosphere as the restaurant isn't massive with an open kitchen with the pizza oven on view. Due to the size and popularity I would recommend booking especially if you're a larger party. For me one of the few eateries in the area that deserve a 5 star rating. Keep up the good work!”

“A really lovely place to eat, fabulous food and exceptional staff, I have mobility issues and they went above and beyond to accommodate me. Apparently they're a venue too! My friends and I went on Friday evening 2nd Dec '22 and saw a wonderful act called 'Ain't Misbehaving', a beautiful and extremely talented singer, an amazing time was had by all. I would highly recommend Florence and Amelia's as a lovely place to meet up and eat and also a fantastic, intimate venue in the evening x”

“This place is honestly a gem and my favourite local takeaway. They serve authentic greek food which is sensational. They also do fish and chips which I have to say are absolutely banging and better than the local chippies!! Big shout out to Bekim and co, the service is unbelievable and standard of the food is 10/10 every time! This is now the only place I get a takeaway in Stalybridge and cannot recommend this enough to anyone local! The mixed gyros with halloumi, skepasti sandwich and fish and chips are delicious and also great value for money with big portions. One thing to consider, the place closes at 9PM so make sure to get your order in before then if you are craving Greek food and don't leave it late. There is no alternative in Stalybridge and after 9PM you will have eat from YAMAS (who I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy as I had violent food poisoning for like 3 days) - ironically only ordered from there as I forgot about the closing time. Don't make my mistake!”

“We had a lovely evening here when visiting a friend Living in Staylbridge, living in Spain Asian food can be hit and miss here, however the food here was first class and the staff looked after us really well, giving us advice on different dishes. They also look so smart in the dress. We will certainly visit again when next in the UK.”

“It's a beautiful place to visit with a boating lake, aviaries, play areas for big kids and little kids and some lovely short walks. Not to mention bowling tennis football and a cafe. It's also got a train and ice-cream in summer. It's just unfortunate that the botanical house has died a death ( shame on you shameside!)”

“Used for a working lunch, 2nd time in a couple of months. Busy as you might expect being Christmas run up but service was spot on. Food was a good standard with a varied menu. We opted for the Festive Fare Menu (but had cod) and this was served with brussels, parsnips etc., and was very nice.”

“We ordered the AK burger and the clucking hell burger. Both absolutely delicious, generous portions and really well presented.We had the waffle with mint aero too which was amazing. I preordered and it was ready bang on time, staff are really friendly and the shop itself is really clean and modern, they should really think about opening a restaurant! The only downfall is that as it’s so close to my house I’m probably going to put all the lockdown weight back on that I’ve just tried to shift.
