“Had an awesome Kottu and Sri Lankan food experience after some time. We live in Leeds and have not been able to find any Sri Lankan restaurants around here. Found this little gem which is about 1 and half hours away but it was worth the trip. The Kottu was great and had an authentic taste to it. Can recommend and will be visiting again.”

“My absolute go-to for karahi chicken (on the bone. They have off the bone option also). Really generous servings and you can choose your spice level. Their rotis are the best too. Lovely amiable staff and the prices are more than reasonable, would be quite happy to pay more just for the service alone.”

“The menu is small but I like this as you do not go crazy deciding what to order then. Good portions of food which is always fresh, hot and delicious tasting. The service is excellent, small family run business where they make you feel welcome and not just a number like some big chain restaurants. Good ambiance, no loud banging music so you can actually have a conversation with someone. Cannot fault Choupan for food, service or atmosphere 100% perfect.”

We tried a lot of dishes and I can say that this is definitely a higher end Indian, not drowned in sauces, these dishes were well balanced, full of flavour and spiced well. “Sapporo Teppanyaki is a great place to dine. The food is delicious and a wide variety of items is available. From beef to lamb to fish to veggie options. They confirmed that the chicken and lamb is halal. The taste of their items is also very good. Sushi tastes great as well and so does their dessert. Booking is highly recommended if you want a place at one of the live cooking stations.”

“Fantastic restaurant! Where do I start. I've been ordering delivery and going in sometimes for a couple of years now and it's always really tasty and friends and family I share it with always agree too. I have a friend who lives 15 miles away who's hooked on coming weekly, you can bring your own booze for a cheaper meal out. The staff are friendly... even my family from India who can cook and afford top class food themselves, loved it! Reccomend the Lamb Karahi, Tarka Daal, Begun (Aubergine) Bhaji, Prawn Puri and Garlic & Coriander Naan, in particular. Great food and great value. Feel lucky to have this "hidden gem" on my doorstep in Reddish :-) Thanks.”

“Some of the best Shawarma if eaten, period, and very reasonably priced at that, costing now £3.50 for a chicken shawarma wrap. Best thing for me is the freshly cooked bread with every wrap! - makes it! Thought this place had closed down until recently, but it just moved from the the tiny adjacent shop to next door. Glad to know the Manchester staple is back. Great friendly service also. Highly recommend!”

“We came on a Sunday afternoon for a light lunch. There was not a single other person here.. However, having said that it's a nicely presented place with white napkins and tablecloths, the service was great and the food was to die for. They also serve alcohol unlike some middle eastern restaurants and the house wine was delicious and very reasonably priced. Overall I would highly recommend!!”

“First time visit with Family, the place was full early evening. Shown to are table very quick which we had reserve, menu and drinks followed very quick. We ordered 8 different curries with an assortment of rice and nan bread. No complaints from anyone. The staff where friendly and helpful, we never felt rushed at anytime. The place was clean and tied. Will be going again.”

“Honestly the best sit down curry I've had in a long time, can't fault it everything was fresh and tasty. The staff are very friendly and helpful and a decent selection of drink to choose from. The green chutney that comes with the poppadoms is so good and spicy. Definitely be returning again. Hats of to this restaurant.”
