“Today I had an appointment with a senior nurse, at the Health Centre, to investigate some serious problems that I have been experiencing following the removal of my gall bladder, last year. She was patient, through and listened attentively to the description of my symptoms. Some further tests need to be carried out and sent of for examination. I am grateful for the time spent by an understanding, patient and experienced nurse.”

“Have been with this surgery for approximately 16 years and have generally been happy with the service provided. The GPs I have seen in that time have been friendly, give you adequate time at appointments and have been reassuring with any issues raised. The reception staff have always seemed friendly to me. The only difficulty for me is getting appointments outside of my working hours of 9 to 5.30 which means taking time off work for appointments. However, this is an observation rather than a complaint as I would be surprised if there are many surgeries open late”

“Saw my GP at 8.40 am advised to go the ICC for a xray , arrived at ICC at 9.07 , xray done and out for 9.30. The receptionist were friendly and efficient as was the radiographer. Very pleasant and seamless experience.”

I was assessed within 2 weeks and fitted with new hearing aids a week later. As I said despite paying privately in the past I almost always had a level of irritation which never really went away and that was the biggest disincentive to wearing hearing aids ! The NHS audiologist was quite thorough and although only time will tell , my hearing aids were comfortable right from the start ! I would recommend the Beacon med. services and my audiologist to anyone .”

Was offered excellent treatment and was also offered transport after the surgery as I was suppose to go home on my own.
