"Came for a Christmas meal a few days ago, as well as some drinks every couple of weeks or so. Nice size/ambience, warm and friendly but not too small to be too cramped. Staff are very nice and the food is great - the roast potatoes and the chips are to die for!"

"Chose to stay at the King William as it is close to Manchester Airport. The room was okay, comfy bed and i had a good night's sleep. I didn't eat at the pub but had a couple of beers. Nice ambiance in the bar and i would stay here again."

"Almost empty at lunchtime. Wanted light lunch but menu for this was not to my liking or taste so plumped for small portion fish and chips. Served quickly and very hot ... but the chips were huge like ganja blocks. Nice half of bitter. Not the bargain lunch available at another local pub. Won't try again."
