The Sparrows Continental Pasta & Spätzle
“After having a very very cold bus trip for 4h this restaurant was our salvation. From the outside one does not know what to expect, but once the door was opened we really got surprised. The warm and nice atmosphere inside made us enjoy the delicious lunch even more. The Spätzle tasted truly authentic, but at the same time had a touch of originality. We strongly recommend the Spätzle “Guanciale” (sadly not on the photos), which are a beautiful mix of different countries traditional plates. All in all this restaurant is something different and offers a nice variation of very interesting dishes and drinks. We strongly recommend it :)”
Door 34 Coffeehouse & Kitchen
“It was my first visit to Door 34. Inside downstairs is quite compact, and was full when I visited last week. But there are a couple of rooms upstairs, and that is where I went. I ordered when I went in, a Cappuccino and Banana cake. As I said they were quite busy, and my order took around 25 minutes to arrive, but worth waiting for. The large Cappuccino was one of the best I have had, and the cake very nice. Staff were friendly and I enjoyed the experience in nice clean surroundings. I will definitely go again.”
Lupo
“Absolute gem in prestwich. Can't believe it's taken me this long to pop in. Had a fantastic coffee & a beautiful bun filled with bolognese. Highly recommended 5* Update Dec 22' Finally got round to tasting the wonderful pizza at Lupo. Its definitely the best pizza I've ever tasted, everything was so so fresh and tasty. I highly recommend. Very easy to communicate over WhatsApp, get your orders in!”
El Boliche
“First time visit to this place and had a fabulous time. The menu has a really good selection of starters and tapas dishes to choose from. As a party of 4 we all chose 3 dishes each which was plenty, the food was really tasty and cooked well. I've had tapas at other places which haven't been as good as it was here. The service was very good as we didn't have to wait long for the dishes and they all arrived together. None of us had any desserts as was comfortably full after. We had the red house wine which was really good but a little on the expensive at £19.50 a bottle. The food is reasonable priced per dish depending on your choice but all the drinks such as a glass of small brandy is quite expensive considering its in Sale. They had entertainment on, 3 guys playing Spanish music which was very good as all live. I would return as we all enjoyed the food with good service.”
Junipers Coffee Shop
“Really charming little cafe. We were in Manchester for an event and stopped in here as somewhere local to where we were staying. Rather than just being a convenient place to eat Sunday brunch, the menu was varied and all of us enjoyed the meals we ordered. The staff were lovely, really friendly. Would definitely recommend.”
Two Birds & One Stone
“A very nice place to visit for breakfast. I had the ‘full English’ which was excellent - large portions of all the right ingredients. Beans not exactly to my liking, neither the method of serving tea, but for most people they would probably be OK. Excellent service by a happy, cheerful and well organized waitress. Decent value for money.”
Royal Balti
“We have really enjoyed our recent takeaway from Royal Balti. The food was cooked really well and full of flavour. Delivered with a smile thank you”
Venezia restaurant
“Absolutely wonderful food, very authentic with attention to detail. One of our faves! Service is impeccable, delivered to the table with the most personable touch!”
Neel Paneer
“A busy weekend visit for a pre-booked dinner for two having been recommended by a work colleague. Very friendly attentive staff, fabulous food and good atmosphere. The menu is excellent with something for all tastes and appetites and great authentic flavours. Two draught Cobra beers of which one was Malabar IPA (fantastic). One of the best Indian dinners we’ve had for some time. We will definitely return very soon.”
Crumbs 102
“This place is a hidden gem. Amazing breakfast not a greasy spoon. Fabulous standard food. Friendly atmosphere ideal for families. Highly recommended.”
Corner Cafe
“Brilliant little cafe. Nice food, good portions and friendly, helpful staff. Drop in if you're passing.”
Forester's Arms
“Happy pleasant staff, a regular for family and friends for many years. No trouble, nice atmosphere.”
The Railway
“Fantastic pub in a great location by the canal. Really friendly barman, loved the music being played (some great music photos on the walls) and a good selection of beers. Loved it.”
Vine
“Great atmosphere and a fantastic range of good quality lagers & beers at competitive prices .”
Plough
“Went for lunch with a friend. Food and service was great. Friendly and helpful staff. Large outdoor area and dog friendly. Love this pub. I've actually been going to the plough since 1976 and it's always been a lovely place. I'd recommend it any day of the week.”
The J. P. Joule
“Visiting friends in the area and called in for a breakfast rather than have one at the Premier Inn we were staying at. Excellent value for money and well cooked. Refills on the drinks good as extras can be expensive. Pleasant staff to always a bonus...”
The Godfather Pizza & Kebab House
“Order this regularly for my grandma because she really enjoys the food…. It’s lovely food and clean… tonight the UBER delivery man refused to going into the gated complex where she lives and said my 76 year old grandma will have to walk all the way out of the complex in the cold wet and dark to get her order, I explained she’s disabled and can not walk that far and I’m 30mins away but my grandma can collect it from the apartment door so he would not have to go into the building as she is in a ground floor apartment so just into the car park but the rude UBER driver refused and said well he’s not driving through the gates so she won’t be able to have her food… I rang the shop direct and the the staff were so apologetic and the owner went out of his way and drove all the way there himself to take her food to her front door… so this takeaway is very highly recommended as staff and food are great… Thank you!”
Normanhurst Hotel
“Very affordable, last-minute booking turned out so well. Warm, cleans rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Such a pretty location and a short walk to the tram station that takes you right into the city. Would stay again.”
Fratelli's
“Order a 12” mighty meat was honestly best pizza I’ve had from a takeaway highly recommended!”
