The variety, choice & quality of all their products is excellent, really high standards from their wine, to the cheese, to the coffee & locally sourced bakery goods & not only do the WP team really know the detail, story, flavour of the products, they know how to recommend to you based on your likes or what you’re having with it! It’s brilliant to have such a lovely, friendly, welcoming place on the high street, where you feel comfortable to pop in for a drink on your own or with friends. Emma & Will & their whole team are fantastic & make a fab little shop even better. The best place for miles around.”

“I’m a truck driver and was parked in the area for the night. I placed an order for a set menu for 1 and oh my god, it was amazing. It came within 30 minutes and was nice and hot, and there was loads of it. I do a lot of work in the area and will definitely be using Zafrani again in the future. I can highly recommend. “Best fish and chips I’ve had outside of going to a restaurant for a long time. We have an ‘award winning’ chippy closer to us but much prefer the Winton Bar. Freshly cooked fish, and you can order small fish which for me is more than enough. They lightly batter them on request and they’re cooked to perfection, nice crispy batter and lovely chips (2 small portions enough for 3 of us) not all hard and bitty like I’ve had elsewhere. Friendly staff too.”

“I was greeted by Beth, she was on front of house/ bar lovely very polite and welcoming. When I went over to get a carvery, I was met by Kyle and Ellis who apologised as they were in the back restocking the veg! The value for money is fantastic and the staff are so kind and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you!”

“Order this regularly for my grandma because she really enjoys the food…. It’s lovely food and clean… tonight the UBER delivery man refused to going into the gated complex where she lives and said my 76 year old grandma will have to walk all the way out of the complex in the cold wet and dark to get her order, I explained she’s disabled and can not walk that far and I’m 30mins away but my grandma can collect it from the apartment door so he would not have to go into the building as she is in a ground floor apartment so just into the car park but the rude UBER driver refused and said well he’s not driving through the gates so she won’t be able to have her food… I rang the shop direct and the the staff were so apologetic and the owner went out of his way and drove all the way there himself to take her food to her front door… so this takeaway is very highly recommended as staff and food are great… Thank you!”

“Visited VG lounge today with friends and children and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the food was. The price was excellent as they are currently doing blue light discount and "kids eat free" with an adult meal. The staff were so nice and attentive, we had a lovely experience.”
