“My friends and I visited Chilli Banana in Cheadle which is a hidden gem that truly deserves recognition. The moment I stepped through their doors, I was transported back to the aromas of Bangkok also the décor adds that little extra. Their menu is a tantalising mix of classic dishes and unique creations, all made with the freshest and most flavourful ingredients. The standout dish for me was their Pad Thai, which was not only beautifully presented but packed with a perfect balance of sweet, sour and spicy flavours. The stir-fried noodles were perfectly cooked and combined with a delicious sauce and a generous serving of juicy prawns, vegetables and peanuts. It was simply divine. The Green Curry, which was a true flavour explosion in my mouth. The creamy, spicy sauce was infused with the bold flavours of lemongrass, ginger and basil, and the tender chicken was cooked to perfection. It was a true feast for the senses. I was also impressed by the warm and friendly service at Chilli Banana. Chilli Banana is a fantastic Thai takeaway that offers delicious food, great service, and a warm and inviting atmosphere. “Haven't been here for a while due to moving out of area, they have recently renovated and expanded and the place looks fab. The food was so excellent tasted beautiful couldn't fault anything really. The meat was all beautifuly cooked and perfectly flavored it was busy and great atmosphere despite being a Monday. We will be back next time in the area! All I would say is we really fancied a creme Catalan or something similar for dessert get that added to the menu and this would be perfection!”

“Went out for dinner last night at Bodega and was absolutly blown away by the quality of the food!! Highly recommend the Spicy Chicken Wings, Lamb dishes and the Muscles. “Really tasty chicken and great value. Chicken pieces were huge and even the boneless parts were juicy inside. The wings (we got the spicy sauce) were delicious. Enough chips for two in one portion. Ordered for collection through their website and was served quickly. We’ll be coming back to clear out the place again soon!”

“I’ve recently moved to Cheadle and I’m trying to navigate its many options for a goody night out. Many from the area recommend Yara. Fortunately, it lived up to the hype. The evening was a happy occasion, with visiting family from Yorkshire, and the staff & food made it a wonderful evening. Just enough attention was given to us by the staff, who left us to enjoy our food. Which was all wonderful; the hummus dip starter might have been the best hummus I’ve ever had; creamy and rich and to die for. The option to bring your own booze was also a welcome addition, helping to lead to a very reasonable final bill.”

The food was amazing, I had the grill Ribeye which was stunning, my partner had the salmon which was a very good size and cooked very well. The desserts were enjoyable and the cocktails were good. Excellent choice of wine for a good price and I would recommend the montepulciano.”

They made her a lovely little hot chocolate with cream and they made it ready to drink temperature so she didn't burn her mouth. The place was clean and setup covid safe with good social distance measures and sanitiser etc. The only thing is the prices of coffee but that was already known but not bad for a treat.”
