Ordered my steak medium well and it came more on the medium side but it was rectified. The strawberry twist drink is a must for the non drinkers! Our waitress was superb. She was attentive, polite, engaged in conversation with us and overall amazing at her job. This is why we return to Wilmslow.”

We tried a wide selection of starters, mains and desserts and they all deliver very high quality whilst being very well priced. “So we get to this place and it was busy, We hadn't booked a table so we were told that we may not be able to dine. As we travelled from Bradford, we were told we could wait until a certain time if the party that had been booked hadn't arrived. Well, the party didn't arrive and we were given a table, I can not honestly fault this place. From customer service to the food service, everything was spot on. It's a Saturday night and considering how busy they were every customer was well looked after with the same level of service throughout. We enjoyed our mocktails and the mains were amazing. We also got a complimentary free dessert and were so touched by this gesture. Danyal who went out of his way from when we came into the place to leaving was a star. Definitely recommend this place you will not be disappointed.”

“Loved this place. We had an overnight stay in Manchester with a next day flight to USA so we stayed in the area. Found this place and had a beer and food. Staff were amazing looked after us really well and the food was top notch as was the beer. Wish I could go more often.”

“We dropped by here for lunch arriving at 12 noon. Already this venue was popular but had plenty of seating to accommodate everyone. There were plenty of staff who were friendly knowledgable and created a good atmosphere. A real highlight from the kitchen was the Gluten Free Menu. It was extensive and included a gluten free version of the majority of the main menu. In addition to the GF menu there was a vegan menu and they also catered for those avoiding specific allergens. An excellent GF beer was also available. It was a real pleasure to eat & drink here and we will be visiting again soon.”

“I’ve recently moved to Cheadle and I’m trying to navigate its many options for a goody night out. Many from the area recommend Yara. Fortunately, it lived up to the hype. The evening was a happy occasion, with visiting family from Yorkshire, and the staff & food made it a wonderful evening. Just enough attention was given to us by the staff, who left us to enjoy our food. Which was all wonderful; the hummus dip starter might have been the best hummus I’ve ever had; creamy and rich and to die for. The option to bring your own booze was also a welcome addition, helping to lead to a very reasonable final bill.”

“The food is always good quality, it seems to have become a little bit more expensive than our last visit. £15 a Tandoori Mixed grill, mains around £13 with rice extra. The staff were helpful and attentive and alcohol prices reasonable for a restaurant. Top marks for getting the No Fresh Coriander right and for pointing out that one of the relishes had coriander leaves in it. Prices still the same, so relatively cheaper! Still the same quality and friendly staff.”

“I had heard from family that this place was the place to go for a curry. I came in with pretty high expectations. Those expectations were easily exceeded. The restaurant is beautiful decorated, the hello upon arrival and the smiling friendly service was fantastic. Lovely atmosphere with a charming young bartender called Joshua who is a very witty individual to say the least and had my sister in stitches all night! “Simply the best place in Manchester for a kebab (or mixed grill) and naan. 10/10. The food is delicious. Free soup (with nice spices) and truly unlimited Kurdish tea. The service is exquisite. The restaurant is busy, spacious and they really look after you when it comes to going above and beyond, e.g. birthday celebrations etc. Great facilities. A diamond in the rough. There is another Kurdish restaurant on this street that needs to take lessons from Slemani. The other restaurant took 1 hour+ for service, indeed the service was non-existent. The soup was cold at the other restaurant. The tea didn't arrive. Facilities were dated. The whole experience was sub-optimal.”

Phone network was not good there (not their fault) which meant we ordered at the bar instead of the App - Which is quicker, easier and friendlier anyhow. Food was good, great value for money, another reviewer stated overpriced, this was £12 for a plateful of well cooked and tasty chicken. Some people expect 5 star hotel food and pub prices. All in all, a typical Pub, yes there may be some beer stains on the carpet or a lick of paint is needed somewhere, you just need to remember it is a pub, not a restaurant. And therefore has a much better atmosphere.”
