“I’m a truck driver and was parked in the area for the night. I placed an order for a set menu for 1 and oh my god, it was amazing. It came within 30 minutes and was nice and hot, and there was loads of it. I do a lot of work in the area and will definitely be using Zafrani again in the future. I can highly recommend. “Best fish and chips I’ve had outside of going to a restaurant for a long time. We have an ‘award winning’ chippy closer to us but much prefer the Winton Bar. Freshly cooked fish, and you can order small fish which for me is more than enough. They lightly batter them on request and they’re cooked to perfection, nice crispy batter and lovely chips (2 small portions enough for 3 of us) not all hard and bitty like I’ve had elsewhere. Friendly staff too.”

When I went over to get a carvery, I was met by Kyle and Ellis who apologised as they were in the back restocking the veg! “Visited VG lounge today with friends and children and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the food was. The price was excellent as they are currently doing blue light discount and "kids eat free" with an adult meal. The staff were so nice and attentive, we had a lovely experience.”
