Such great cakes and bakes too offer. My hubby was really interested in the IPA on offer, can't beat a craft beer when out. Straight from the keg too. Will certainly be back for more”

Hare & Hounds
● Open“We have visited The Hare and Hounds twice in the past week. Once on Sunday for lunch and on Tuesday night for quiz night. Both times we were made to feel very welcome. Food was good. Staff were friendly and there was a nice buzz about the place. The only slight downside is the toilet that is cold and needs decorating. Our dog Milo loved it too.”

Lowerhouse Inn Pub & Function Room
● Open“I have been to many functions at this venue and always had a great night. Always made to feel welcome even when I have been there on my own. The staff are very friendly and also very accomodating when I have held events there. One such event was on the 14th August where it was a great night and the staff even helped decorate the room as well as cleared everything into a tidy area for us to collect the next day. I noticed a 1* review from a guest at the previous event.. The lady claims to have been Merry but not drunk yet was abusive and confontational to other guest including myself. Later at her hotel it took 8 police officers to escort her from her room after she constantly tried to attack on of her own party. If thats not drunk I'd hate to see how you behave when you are? The fact this lady 2 weeks later is still trying to cause trouble, speaks more about her than the venue she is trying to bad mouth.”

Bar is more sporty and has huge screen for big footy matches. We watched England v Germany in the 2020 Euros, they don't come much bigger than that.”

O'Neill'S Printworks
● Open“In Manchester for wedding anniversary and stumbled on this pub as it was near our hotel. Absolutely wonderful to hear live music, total mixture of ages of customers, made to feel very welcome so much so we returned the next night. Very professional staff and bouncers, all public areas very clean and well maintained. Only downfall was they ran out of glasses and some drinks were in plastic tumblers, which at the age of over 50 was not ideal but as I said didn't put us off as we came back the next evening. Very nice customers as well”

Birch Community Centre
● Open“We were given use of the Birch Centre for a Charity Quiz + Curry night for the MS Therapy Centre NW. It was a fantastic venue for our needs; it was fully accessible, had everything we needed to serve food, and connecting the speakers/PA was really easy. What was made the experience was how incredibly helpful Jonathan and Ben were, from start to finish, Jonathan was there to answer any queries and show me how things worked on the night and Ben was on hand on the night to hook us up with the PA system. Great venue in a great part of South Manchester, I'd recommend them to anybody. Thank you so much!!”

AO Arena
● Open“Saw Roxy Music here, very good staffing and signage to find our seats and the other facilities for food and merchandise. We parked at the Printworks which is a few minutes walk away, but is quicker to get out of than the Arena car park when there is a big concert. The seats are okay but the legroom is not massive if you are a bit taller, so maybe consider getting a seat at the front of the block if so. I booked my tickets on Ticketmaster which was very good, I could check out where the seats were and even what the view would be like. I went for seats in block 210 row B, so up towards the back, and I was glad the screens were very good, because I couldn't really see what was going on on the stage very clearly, but then, I don't have brilliant eyesight so it might be me. The sound was very good, properly loud and dynamic, but not so much that my ears were left ringing like some gigs I've been to in small clubs. Overall, a modern venue, professionally run, and well designed.”
