“I have been using Church Lane Garage for approximately 4-5 Years. I would never dream about going anywhere else. Ali is extremely reliable, trustworthy, hardworking, and gets a job done in no time. For example on a Saturday morning (without notice) I dropped my car off at 9am which needed a new exhaust, he had managed to order and fit by 2pm that very same day! Talk about Service! To top it off he is very reasonably priced and I could personally not recommend him highly enough. Thanks Ali. :-)”

“Wonderful place for kids, we went for a birthday party which little one loved. I have been to a few of these over the years and this is probably the cleanest I have seen. There is lots of seating for parents and you can also order food if you wish. There was a separate section upstairs for party groups to eat etc. This has a rather lovely view being in Marple Stockport which is quite leafy. Worth a visit to let the children run amok for a few hours.”

“Called in 4 days ago when everywhere was snowed under and the roads were deadly with ice! The absolutely lovely landlady came rushing to the door and guided us into the warmth. She had one of the staff make a hot coffee for my husband free! I bought a lager and lime which was just perfect. While we were there two paramedics called in to use the toilets; and again, the landlady made them both a cup of coffee free of charge! What a lovely, down to earth lady! The other staff were friendly too. Really nice, traditional pub with wonderfully welcoming staff. Highly recommended! ☺️”

“Strines Nightingale shows their is hope for an incredible venue, after death by annexed strangulation, that has been dished out by the corporate drinks industry to the independent pubs in the High Peaks. There’s nowhere you’d rather be locally. The type of place you’ll realise makes you want to relocate to the area. All whilst listening to music worthy of James Ford short. It’s effortless. You won’t be disappointed. A credit to the area.”

“I use Hollinswood for after school club and they are wonderful. My children are well cared for and enjoy a range of different activities. The price is great and includes the children getting a healthy snack (lots of it too). Definitely recommend to others!”
