Heaton Vapes
“Really professional yet friendly service. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone”
THE HUNGRY BEAR MCR
“Just literally finished the food and was absolutely spot on. Burgers were soooooo nice and everything else on top was amazing. We had an issue with missing items on delivery as the driver didn’t drop it off and they soon got us a replacement ready and treated us to some ice cream for the issue. Met the guys, absolutely lovely people and happy to help. Thanks guys will be definitely back there soon!”
Laco Café & Bistro
“Gorgeous cafe. Fits right in with the Underbank development. The coffee is fab and the vegetarian breakfast (smashed avocado with poached eggs and halloumi) was amazing but it's the little touches that nailed it for me: 1. an umbrella stand and a coat stand, ideal when it's a soggy day outside (no dripping all over the cafe) and; 2. a steak knife to cut the sourdough toast. Much underrated. I spotted the cakes as I paid and went back later to sample. The Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake was incredible. Try the mushrooms on toast. Amazing.”
The Beehive Cafe
“Came in for our breakfast after picking up my wedding dress.. The owner was lovely and the food was perfect!!”
The Little Hideout Cafe
“I love this veggie breakfast at the most friendly and down to earth local cafe.”
Pope Brian S Ltd
“Friendly helpful service, and all the tools you could need. How often do you see businesses with genuine 5 stars. Good Old fashioned service and advice is worth paying for.”
Bargain Booze
“REAL ALE MECCA!!! NOT YOUR AVERAGE BARGAIN BOOZE! Around 3 years ago I asked if there was any chance of getting a few more real ales in to add to a fairly small, ersatz selection. I went in the other day and there were yet more new arrivals to add to the must be over 100 ales already on offer. Ales from £1 - £43 a bottle to suit all palates. Local ales well represented and international craft breweries too, such as the excellent Nest Brewery from Japan. Full credit to Paul and the team - the selection is second to none and refreshingly priced too. Well worth a visit.”
The Sandwich Bar
“Made a quick stop for a sandwich while working in the area. Car park just behind the shop which was handy. Had a chicken tikka baguette and was fantastic. Great value and taste. Would go again if nearby.”
Gaijin Dumpling House
“Amazing authentic Halal Chinese in Manchester. We ordered a variety of dishes off the menu and each item was out of this world! All flavours were so unique and the dips - loved the HK sauce (which came with each dish) each complimented the flavours so well. We ordered the prawn and chicken dumplings steamed dumplings, the typhoon squid and veggie spring rolls to start and was pleasantly surprised with how hot and fresh each of the items were. This was followed by our Bao buns; Prawn and Chicken bao were absolutely scrumptious. We thought it couldn’t get any better and then came the star of the show… Lamb on Crack! Just WOW - melt in your mouth lamb with an amazing taste which makes them sooooo addictive - Now we understand why they’re called “Lamb on Crack”!!! Just truly blown away by the whole experience: food, service, prices and hospitality. Very generous owner who went above and beyond to satisfy its customers with a service with a smile and hot fresh food, all at a great price - this is an example of how a food business should be. We will be definitely be back soon! Thank you to Tofiq and his team for an amazing evening - P.S please open in Birmingham! Until then it’s so worth the drive up to Manchester. We have no doubt that your business will be successful- just keep doing what you’re doing! Bigger premises soon come InshaaAllah. *** Defo recommend booking a table to avoid disappointment **”

Reddish Vale Farm
“Wow! What a magical experience! We always have a great time at Reddish Vale Farm but the Santa Experience was something else. The amount of creativity and magical touches that have gone into creating magic and memories blew me away. The outfits are amazing , the decorations are spot on, the Christmas trees are huge and it all really makes you feel like you are at the North Pole. My son is 5 but I can see us going for a few years to come as it was so cleverly done and watching his face take in all the magic was so wonderful. There are even silly things for the Adults to spot like the Elf and Safety poster and there are photographs in Santa’s grotto of the actual actors. All the elves and Santa were brilliant but my personal favourite was Mrs Claus you are a star. The experience is so organised there are no long waits and it all feels covid safe you need to wear a mask but the spaces are large and well ventilated and some of it is outside too. We couldn’t believe how much you got to do and keep there was an large plush Elf toy that you stuffed yourself and an elf certificate then a letter to Santa and then a gingerbread decorating session which you could eat or take home and hot chocolate for the parents. They got sweets from the elf shop and then the usual toy from Santa was age specific and not one of those that falls apart on the way home! To anyone wondering if it’s worth the money it absolutely is, go for it!”
The Petersgate Tap
“Great place to enjoy a quality beer close to the market. Interesting cask/keg/cider selection: they even had barley wine when I was there. There could well be a bottle shop upstairs full of Belgian rarities. Went today, it's still fabbo”
